When isn't Israel's army on Full-Alert? I think they have been everyday since the the Summer of 2006, at least.

As far as organizing a military fleet in the area, not a half bad idea for if things get heated, they will get hot fast.

Although, even movenment, I'm sure, is locked on by Iranian artillery. Remember, this is a country that stated they will launch all they got at USrael targets/interests in the area if they or their allies are attacked.

However, with Lebanon the brink like that.. an attack from Israel would only re-unite the country.

why is the u.s. always the obstacle to peace. the whole situation can be resolved if they used the u.n. as it was meant to be.

if the u.s. submitted resolutions calling for the end of israels military occupation, cut off all military and financial aid, imposed global economic sanctions and sent u.n. peacekeepers as buffers to stop israeli incursions, this whole situation would be resolve in 3 days.

it's that simple. this is a sham.

Yeah, and the pact that the US, UK, and Canada have with Israel is completely different right? Iran is right to say they will protect themselves and their allies when they are attacked, look at Afghanistan and Iraq, hell, even Pakistan.

Israel is on high alert 24/7 because through their actions they have created the very enemy they claim to be protecting themselves from. Israel is going to push into Lebanon at some point, and they are gonna go for broke to the river as they need the water desperately. they will continue to murder people in Gaza, bringing rage upon themselves from all corners of the world, which they will then conveniently point to the bible saying "see, everyone is rising against us" and the brainwashed christian zionists will cheer the nuclear holocaust they will help create.

My apologies friend but you seem to be a little naive. The UN is just as corrupt as the US. That is to say that the same people who control the US, UK and most of Western Europe had a hand in setting up the UN and indeed the European Union. Everything that is happening in the world now is not down to individual governments - they are puppets who do as they are told - but part of a plan or the Big Picture. Please see Zeitgeist Addendum or The Esoteric Agenda. Better still, "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion". These should help to put you in the (Big) picture.

The UN council can sit around in the multi billion dollar complex in NY and talk about the issue.
As for the US always stepping in? I question that as well.
The US needs to take care of our own crap first. We are not the world police.

I have not doubt's that Western forces are amassing in the area .However the justification and back ground story we are supposed to swallow sounds like pure rubbish . What the millitary are now thought police .Where is the crime or act of war .These statements are speculative and don't justify the action .So what is really behind the motivation ?

Quite a worrying development if true and substantiable? What's the record of the source in terms of reliability and neutrality? The language used seemed quite emotive at points, with a definite anti-Iran/Syria undertone. Having said that there did seem to be a lot of detail there in comparison to the weak, watered-down reports we usually get regarding such developments over here in the UK.

In conclusion: The Free World and the Arabic countries have an obligation to help the Lebanese people by all available means, including military forces in a bid to stop Iran and Syria, through its armed terrorist proxy, Hezbollah, from taking over Lebanon and turning it into an arena for evil wars against all the democracies in the world.

As much as I dislike the situation brewing, Syria has been, for many years, the "black-sheep" of the Arab world, and well, Iran is not Arab, at all, and has its own agenda, overt to all...

Both Israel and the rest of the Arab Middle East (with the exception of Hizbollah, and other "black-sheep" factions) will welcome the Western military fleets.

Unfortunately, it is what it is, and the UN is not what it is...

I am dubious about any reports the UK (not England as quoted in the source article) is involved. We currently have no aircraft carriers or even planes to fly off them! At most, we'd have a destroyer or two sat in the Med as part of our presence there anyway.

That said, we do have alot of soldiers and aircraft in Cyprus.

The carriers obviously US boats.The only other boat that fits is french, and i believe they have engine trouble or something, may have it fixed too....
The Syrians will probably get their country bombed to match the nuclear reactor that isreal obliterated last year or so......lebanon could get its nose bloodied too.
isreal has shown no qualms about bombing their infrastructure to H and back....

that's the whole point of my post, it is a sham and a tool, the whole middle east peace process is joke because it can be resolved in minutes. the whole global system is corrupt and the palestinians are caught in the middle.

no one wants middle eastern peace because then there will be no reason and excuses to be there. this isn't about religion it is about the most profitable and important commodity on earth, oil.

a market that generates more revenue than arms dealing and drug trafficking combined. a resource so valuable, that without it modern militaries would cease to function.

without oil, the industrial military complex would collapse and fade into history. the forces at play are so mind boggling that a 9/11 attack seems logical and perfectly acceptable even necessary for the survival of the american empire.

why do you think the u.s. keeps paying off billions and billions to the israeli's, to keep this sham going for as long as possible. the israeli's aren't stupid. the israel's are blackmailing the u.s. with peace, at the very least making america pay to continue oppressing the palestinians. that's the conspiracy, that they are allied by mutual interests.
