Ron Reagan to address Democratic convention

LOS ANGELES - (KRT) - In a move sure to embarrass Republicans, Ron Reagan will address the Democratic National Convention this month.

Reagan, son of former President Ronald Reagan and an outspoken critic of the Bush administration, will be at the podium on the second night of the four-day event in Boston, July 27, in support of stem-cell research, he said Sunday in an interview here.

David Wade, a spokesman for Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry, confirmed Reagan's appearance, but sources said the date had not been determined. Scott Stanzel, press secretary for President Bush's campaign, declined to comment.

You may have to register to read this Knight Ridder story. I wonder what Dick 'F U' Cheney will have to say about this situation? Maybe you missed it, but Ron Junior subtly slammed Bush in his eulogy to his father at the California funeral service. You know the Republicans want to exploit Reagan to the max in this campaign, yet Ronald Reagan Junior is going to be criticizing Bush at the Democratic Convention. LOL.

You know the Republicans are desperately trying to get Nancy Reagan to speak at their convention, but they may have to settle for the rabidly right-wing Michael, who is only a Reagan by adoption.

Oh.

A Raygun with good judgment and honest free speech in his set of principles.

This is good news.
