Keep an eye on Al-Jazeera folks. They are an independent and international news agency with no political agenda (that I can see or feel). Their audience is worldwide and far outnumbers readers of CNN, ABC and the BBC put together, and they publish in several languages. They may not be well known in North America due to a natural shyness of anything 'Arabic'. Al-Jazeera means 'The Island'.

The publication of the Palestinian Papers is very brave, and serves to denounce the Palestinian leadership, the Israelis, the British and the United States as collusioners, for want of a better word.

I hope I have put this in the right thread! There is a lot going on in North Africa and the Middle East at the moment, and the coming weeks could see more instability and more governments topple.

Could we please avoid anti-Arab rhetoric regarding what is going on...one bad apple does not ruin the barrel...mind you I might retract that if Palin becomes president...oh America will be so popular then!
