It's not so unbelievable when you research it. The US government has spent billions of dollars studying us, learning how to manipulate and control us and this has been going on for decades. They have the technology and the know how to make us believe our choices are our own. They certainly know what makes us tick. You throw in the little nugget about how the US government has doubled in size since 9/11 ....the top secret side of the government has been what's expanded. Surveillance, data mining, wire tapping, cameras everywhere, and a hundred other things I don't have time to mention, these are just a few areas our government has spent BILLIONS on.
And then there is the CIA and it's history. What we know about it anyway and can glean from the web, whistle blowers, books and tidbits of truth that get away from them now and then and wind up on some alternative news site. MK ULTRA, Project Monarch, Operation Mockingbird, Operation Ajax, FOIA, etc.
It's pretty hard not to think a lot of things are psyops because it's proven to be the case so many times in the past. And it's only getting bigger. These folks have committed some monstrous deeds. They work for the banking cabals. They don't work for POTUS and they don't work for the American people. The CIA should not exist in a transparent democracy. They have too much power and they are out of control. If I've said it once I'll say it a thousand times. The CIA is a mad dog that needs to be put down.

Oh so you've researched it? Good! Now it won't be too hard providing solid evidence as to this anti-Chavez demonstration being a CIA Psy-op.

Do any of you know who was in power before Chavez ? I do and put it this way if what happened there happened in USA how many of you would have the balls to do what chavez did about it ?
He stood up and made a change the only way possible . He also believes 911 was an inside job he speaks out about the US and they hate him for it . Similar to what you tried to do to Castro smear him and even tried to assassinate him .

Oliver Stone is a lefty socialist so I think I'll skip any points he may have thanks. The people of Venezuala voted Chavez out, they dont want him,he has now assumed dictatorial powers via military strength,he is a dictator thats all he is.

Your free to believe whatever you choose too but you'll soon learn that yes you too can be wrong and succumb to propaganda. Time will tell on Chavez, we shall soon see how much he loves his people. He loves them so much he siezes their property,yeah real freedom fighter he is.

Good job placing the burden of proof on something that is currently happening to attempt to disprove a theory. Where do you expect this proof you are demanding right now to come from -- you realize the CIA is a clandestine organization right? What you're asking for is something you can't exactly find on the internet.
Based on historical fact, you should give consideration to the fact that it is difficult to NOT find CIA/US involvement in every coup of any leader whose beliefs don't align with the American/western/corporatocracy view. If the CIA is involved it will likely be revealed in time, just like it has been in the past. Feel free to continue to be completely fallacious though...

I'm sorry but the need for a proof or atleast minimal evidence is there with every bombastic claim.
Will you simply take my word for it if I said something without even handing out evidence to my claims? No you wouldn't.

All I'm saying is that every news article that doesn't fit in with the majority of ATS posters will eventually be marked as a CIA psy-op. This fact degrades the discussion levels at ATS to a point where only anti US/West are considered legit, and everything else is a CIA psy-op.

This is just absurd, and asking for evidence or proof is legitimate everywhere around the Internet so I don't see why it's such a big no-no on ATS.

So since you are there and live there give us your take on the situation please. Is Chavez widely supported by the people or not? We at ats would like to know what is the situation in Venezuala on the ground there. As always I personally support any people who would wish to be free and stand up and fight for their rights as people,good luck.

He is,definitely supported by at least 50% of the people,11 years later.
But it's all for the wrong reasons,they give you a fridge and you vote for them.Simple.
It depends on individuality,it doesn't matter if the rest of the country is falling apart.
It's not all Chavez you know,is also Venezuelans,we got what we deserved,and boy are we liking it.
Also,nothing works,everything is expensive(inflation 30%),there's lack of housing for the homeless(due to the heavy rains),lack of jobs,insufficient pay,nobody wants to invest here,more than 1300 private companies expropiated and violence eveywhere.If you're robbed and you got no money or a blackberry to give them,theres a high chance you're going to get killed there.

Of course,if i say something like this,they say i'm being paid by the CIA to say it.
