Problem w/Avatar?

Trying to put an avatar on my profile for the first time. I attempted to use a direct link via Flickr but it didn't work so I then tried to directly upload via media.ats.com and I'm not getting anything still. I followed the instructions in the video and after I created my ATS media account I can't view the video anymore because my "family filter" is apparently on however I verified it was off. Can anyone give me some protips on how to get my avatar on my posts? Thanks in advance.

Is this what you want as an avatar (It's the only image in your media account so I was assuming it was)?

..into where it says "Avatar URL" which is found by clicking on "tools" at the top of the page.

No. You cannot use that avatar. You need to remove it.
