Hello all

I have a question about some techs that can help me out on this. I was recently banned for... "Changing my nick and inflaming a situation"

Basically a bunch of friends changed our nicks to some sort of form of the word "Random" so we confused who was who. T'was purely for fun. Unfortunately the one mod that doesn't like me was online and banned me for.. yeah uhh inflaming a situation. I broke no rules that jerk HMFP!1!

So i was wondering how can i still log on?

The client/game i go on is called 'Battle for Wesnoth'
wesnoth.org...

I changed my proxy ( i think - just basic youtube how to, with changing proxy ) but it didn't seem to work.
I am running Ubuntu 10.04.

I'm sure this is possible to do, just need someone with the right know-hows

Thanks if you can help.

-PS
Also idk if this helps but their main server address is called "server.wesnoth.org:15000"
If that means anything

-PSS
When i sign on it says "Client Disconnected"

You can download and use Tor. It's an onion router. What it does is bounce your connection around to different people on the network so you're TCP/IP address is always changing. That will solve your being banned problem.

eh, some ( read as most all) forums aren't to keen on users posting #!/bin/sh type stuff that could be mis-interpreted as mischievous code
especially when it's a bit mischievous
