Well...maybe not quite the first, ever heard of Nibirushock 2012?

Seriously folks, we have to search for this thing. Would be an awesome to see it just appear.

based on your research, what are your opinions on nibiru? will it fly by us and cause havoc, will it impact us? is newmexico a safe place to be when this goes down? is 8000 feet a safe altitude?

yes all of the other times it was around 4ish, but it wasnt as bright!, it was more of a what is that, rather than last night when it was WHAT THE HELL IS THAT know what i mean

Crazy! I'm going to dig around the net to see what else I can find. There HAS to be someone else out there that's reporting the same thing. An object that bright in the sky for an extended period of time will without a doubt draw a lot of attention.
Would you mind sending me a copy of the original image for analysis? Perhaps there is a clue to the identity of the object that we're missing. PM me and I'll give you my email address....

Nibiru is really an open subject. There is no public proof for Nibiru , however there is enough proof that NASA is not always truthful . I guess that the "proof" about Nibiru is coming little by little.

The story started with the translations of the Sumerian Tablets - Translation made by Zecharia Sitchin . This was the beginning only - not proof of Nibiru but most likely proof that ancient people believed in a cyclical catastrophe associate with an astronomical event (could be another Holmes comet -not necessary a regular star ) , however in time we discovered more things:

1) fact- 80% of more of the solar system are at least binary . This automatically increased the chance of Nibiru existence.
2) large perturbations in the orbit of Neptune and Pluto - perturbation not explained clearly to our day.
3) The discovery in 2004 of a planet external to Pluto (called Xena) , however the planet also manifests perturbations of a greater object . This discovered planet is not the cause of Neptune orbit perturbations as the dimensions are to small for this.
4) The Kuppiter belt presenting a discontinuity , that cannot be explained well without the existence of a massive object passing by
5) the existence of the asteroids belt between Jupiter and Mars

...and i think the main cause to believe in Nibiru is

6) the low confidence of the population in the government institutions.

As there is not enough data to accurately say something about Nibiru , the honest opinion is that we do not know! I give it a 80% chance to exist , the same percentage of the stars that seem to be binary.

Going back to the topic - the safest place to be ? well, not under the ground! this is why it makes no sense to me to hear the stories of secret survival bases build under the ground. The safest place would be the places In-Land , over 7500 feet high but however with no seismic activity . This is very limiting, I would check for fault lines in the New Mexico area.

Does your camera have a red battery light on it? Maybe it is just a reflection of that in the window when you took the picture?

Cloudcroft would be a great choice, geographically speaking.

Don't you think that if anything as large as earth or mars as hypothesized by most believers of Nibiru or even just for arguments sake the size of pluto that passed around say 100,000 miles away from the moon would create enough of a disturbance with its gravity to disrupt the moon's orbit thereby causing who knows what kind of problems on earth, as well as the gravity of that object affecting the earth on its own? I would think that it would pull on the earth, making people and animals on the surface feel lighter and maybe even dizzy or euphoric (idk why but i associate flying and lightness with euphoria...or idk maybe I do know why haha), and also on the crust, causing possibly earthquakes all over the world, even where there are no fault lines, thus triggering volcanic eruptions and all sorts of natural catastrophic events. It would seem that not only earth would be affected, but also mars, and especially the asteroid belts. Isn't there another asteroid belt outside or near the Kuiper Belt? Or is the Kuiper Belt the asteroid belt I'm talking about? If there were something coming this way, wouldn't the movements of asteroids in these two belts offer us some kind of warning that there may be something with a large enough gravitational pull to be of concern? I think planets like Pluto and Xena and their unusual orbits point to towards the notion that there may be something else outside or at the furthest reachest of the solar system that are influencing them. But if that were true, and that thing was actually moving closer towards the Sun and Earth, wouldn't we see changes in the orbit of these planets, as well natural phenomena on the surface of the larger planets nearest such as uranus and neptune? Or even Saturns rings getting disturbed to some extent? I would think that such an object would be able to identify easier if we analyzed the positions of these stellar objects and the changes that may be happening on the surface, because no doubt an entire planet or star moving into our solar system would have drastic effects on the planets and moons and asteroid belts way out there.

wow that is amazing. I would love to see that but I am on the east coast.....

but if the light is so prominent, then why isn't it visible to anyone else in the lascruces newmexico area? I mean, there are no reports on MUFON about it or in hte news....how can that be kept on such a tight lid?

This comment made me think of a question...Everyone within the whole hemisphere should've been able to see it if the object were located in outer space.
Where would you locate this object in the sky? Within our atmosphere or otherwise??
There are no landmarks and thus no depth perception in the image so it's very difficult to tell the distance from the lens.
