I do tend to discount witness claims of sudden 90 degree turns. Even if they aren't lying, they are probably just misinterpreting what they see, or else it's a UAP like a light or a reflection which could make a 90 degree turn that would be impossible for a physical object.

90 degree turns are the least credible of all UFO related claims, as I've never seen any evidence to suggest otherwise and would be impossible for an aircraft.
Several mistaken assumptions here. I think the most important part is that you admit you are being selective in what you think needs an explanation. Obviously a mundane explanation will be an easier fit if you trim the unconventional and difficult aspects. That is not skepticism, it is pseudo-skepticism. So thanks for making clear you are not interested in an explanation of the phenomenon as observed, but people have to be mistaken or lying instead. Yawn, with such an assumption you might as well argue there are no true UFOs (UFOs that remain unexplained after investigation and the likelihood of them staying unexplained in conventional terms increases).

Do me a favor, pick up Paul Hill's book on UFOs and enlighten us to why his explanation of 90 degree angle turns cannot possibly be correct.

There are nunmerous cases in which UFOs do things which conventional aircraft cannnot do. For example, in the RB47 case a UFO blinked out suddenly and vanished from the scope in the plane and the ground radar at the same time. Now, this would appear to be "impossible for a physical object" too. Do we now conclude the witnesses were lying or mistaken? You are starting to sound as shrill as Phil Klass.

It is interesting, especially how it happened during something unrelated that happened to catch this.

Is it just me or does the object appear to take on a slight rotating disc shape before that turn?

It's a ufo all right, an unidentified flying object. If that's not enough proof, then you can tell by the number of flags per page, for an unidentified bird. I blame the scary music for that.

Wow, this is exactly what I saw, 12 years ago. I have only seen one very strange, unexplainable thing in my 28yrs, and it was an bright light in the sky at night that made turns too sharp, and too fast, to be anything "known" to man, and it changed direction in a way to make me think it was being piloted intelligently. I was 16 or 17 at the time, had my best friend with me, and we were driving on A1A in New Smyrna Beach, FL, heading north. It was bright enough that we both thought it was a star. But it shot down, made a 90 degree turn to go back up, then made another 90 degree turn, and got out of my range of sight at a speed that was unreal. Just didn't seem possible. We both get chills just talking about it. This is the only reason I believe in extra-terrestials (but a lot of it I do not believe). Well that, and probability.

Fo shua looks coolio like.

When he says playback is at 30 frames/s, is that in the impressive looking pingy type bit or when he says, "slowed down to normal speed?

If playback at normal speed was at 30 frames/s, the bloody thing was in view for 7.5 minutes. I tink
Not in a hurry eh? And a slow moving propellory plane at a long distance could make a similar looking turn no?

If the fast view was at 30 f/s, the thing was really hackin it around up there and I haven't got a scooby doo what the thing was. I'll kerplunk for a close by, white, blurry radio controlled plane, or perhaps a kite with a pretty, silvery tail, or something. Maybe a spaceship showing off to lady spaceships. Why zig zag for no apparent reason. I drive like that when I'm sloshed and on the farm. A drunkard alien?

Forgive me if my maths/interpretationy thing is way skewiff but I've had a coupla rum and lime sodas and me eyes and maths head ain't quite what they were a few hours ago. I'm new to all this critical thinking too. You chicks and dudes are so strict.

Be nice to get some clearer details from the cam man.

Take care, theres a storm a comin.

The whole time lapse throws it off:

He took 1 pic every second, and is playing it back at 30 pics a second.

Makes it look like it is super fast...when in reality it isnt.

It wasnt recored with a photo camera so its not photography. JVC camera's cant/dont/wont take picture [images-photography], it simply takes a video, and in this case - 1fps and 30fps

It is indeed a time lapse, which speeded up makes me believe that if it was a jet then it could very well make this manuvre[sp?].

Download the footage, play it in slow mo to get original footage and you will see that it is not moving fast at all

Be safe be well

I understand that this has been sped up but..

One thing that I noticed and found interesting is the position in which it makes the turn. It makes the 90 right where the odd shaped cloud is. As if it is a directional cue. (Think of the cloud as an arrow around a turn on the road) Ame I the only one who noticed that and pointed it out?

Very lame assumption but I look at all the information I'm given.
If it is an "anti-gravity" craft, could there be a magnetic line there that the cloud formed around?

am I the only one to notice cloud formation and dissipation...help me out here,,,seems elaps time would look just a little different....I'm not buying it, looks like an ameba to me ,,,sorry to spoil it

I fully agree with ya. At the second zig you can see it do a flight path correction verticaly before changing direction, it may look like an abrupt 90 but it's not and with the film speed not in real time, I'm calling nay on the UFO.

Great find! I'm very impressed with the video. Now all we need to do, is find a video that actually has the little green men who flew that ship. Why is it we always see the ship/craft/ufo, but never the occupants inside? DO they not get out and walk around from time to time?

They can make a 90 degree turn if they are alive, not a space ship. I started a Thread about 'living creatures entering our atomosphere. " I believe a lot of what we are seeing like the colorful worms, little lites, could be living creatures that are either now able to come into our atmosphere because of holes in the magnetic field or because we are starting to see more than just 10% of our reallity. I hope the subject gets going on here about them being living creatures. Looking for your opinions on this.
