For comparison here is a section I quickly pulled off a polygraph showing a referencing electrode failure, and how it appears when you have an intermittently broken circuit.

I live in Florida and since I have been back from Europe about two weeks, there has been this faint hum that is driving me nuts. It's constant. At first I thought it was an alarm but nope not that. I hear it right now as I type. It's coming from outside. It's louder at night when there are less people on the road. No idea where it is coming from and I don't remember hearing it before I left.

As for Iceland I thought those were Aurora Borealis lights? That is what they were showing on the news with pics of it.

Hey there mb, you know one of the graphs I posted from the ss has one from Florida showing. I believe it is around the Orlando area? It is on the far right hand side third one down on the right. Like I said earlier, one of the reasons I went to look this morning was because of that thread about the humming in Fla.

Also wasn't there a video just posted from Fla with UFO's and some crazy loud sound emitted from them till they disappeared? I think I saw it yesterday on here.

Lol I saw the Iceland thread very early this morning as well. Nice to know they concluded it was the B lights. Was some cool pictures they had on the thread.

Has anyone successfully recorded this sound? If so is there a link to it somewhere?

OK, this happened on Dec 21st 2010. Well we had a 7.4 on the 21st in the Japan Region, also had a 6.7 the day before(Dec 20), in Iran. Maybe these are just reverberations from yesterdays quake? They did say the moon vibrated for quite some time after the moonlanding lol. I would say just low aftershocks I guess. Keep and eye on things though that's 4 big ones(7.0plus) in the last 19 days. If mother earth is pregnant shes coming along now.

That's what I thought LOL!

It was NOT concluded that it was aurora, where did you get that? It was refraction from condensation on the camera lens.

thanks for posting this, I was just about to do the same thing. Me too, I've been visiting this site farily regularly of late, and this seems unusual to me, although like you I'm not an expert, so I don't know how to interpret the data. What strikes me most is that all the patterns seem to be very similar, almost identical, which I've never seen before.

It's vibrations from the 7.4 yesterday. Maybe thats why most of the graphs look like a similar pattern. When did the graphs start going like this?

I live about 40mins from Orlando. I am on the East coast, right by the Space Center.

Its annoying I will tell you that.

I don't know how you would record it since it's not that loud and background noise would over shadow it.

I just wish it would go away! I have lived in this place for almost 2yrs and never heard it like that before. It's been constant since I returned. I really thought it was an alarm or something but for the two weeks or so I have been back it's been constant...Who knows what it is.

The video was posted on 13 January, so it's not based on today's data - but interesting as background info nonetheless.

Not to get too far off topic here, but…
Is it low pitched, or high pitched?
Can you hear it both inside and outside?
Could it be them running engine tests out on the mil bases, at JFK, or at one of the contractors sites?

Look at this page here

neic.usgs.gov...

This shows the Theoretical P-Wave Travel Times for the 7.0 quake on Jan 13 in the Loyalty Islands.

Maybe from this you will understand how quake waves travel.

They are not showing this for the Pakistani quake tho.

Having said that, where were you all when the Loyalty Islands quake struck? That rang the Earth like a bell too.

Nuff said...

It's a medium pitch. Not too high or too low, in between.

JFK??

The military bases are about 25mins from me in Satelitte Beach. I am on Merritt Island which is over the bridge from Cocoa Beach.

Engine tests constantly for two weeks? Usually I can hear and see when they have planes take off from Patrick Airforce Base and the same with the other airports and bases but it is really loud not like this.

I STILL hear it....it kind of reminds me of a vaccuum cleaner sound if that helps....which makes it more annoying since to me that is the most annoying sound in the world

Well they were pretty quiet yesterday morning for the most part. I didnt check them again until this morning, so not sure when they jumped. I know they refresh every half hour I believe.

Yeah it was on Morning Express with Robin Meade on HLN...They had pics people took of the lights over the same city someone posted a video about earlier on here.

It was part of their iReporter section. They probably have pics on their site. I will look.

ireport.cnn.com...

There is a link

Do these things normally last for two hours? That disturbance appears to have started at 20:20 and went on until 22:30
