Next year we will all add 112. last all were 110. If you were born in 1900 you would get your 111th birthday cake this year and that's why it works.

It works for every year you were born EXCEPT those (few ok, but still) born before 1900. In that case, all XIXth Century Born, add 210 this year.

Yeah i think in november some crazy stuff will happen with the computers... on 1/01/11 all iPhones had a glitch where your alarms were disabled, luckily it was over the weekend and it didnt effect that many people, but it did happen to me, and was posted on the net. also i play world of warcraft and the servers were having all kind of login issues... it seemed to start at 11:11 on 1-1-11.... I joked to my buddy about how computers are supposed to communicate in 1's and 0's, not 1's and 1's, and more 1's lol... but nothing really happened on 1-11-11 like i thought it might again

My birthday is at 22 (again), and the same for my twin bro (twin 1+1)
I got another brother who is making 11 this year 2011

It is interesting and worth a mention that any children born after the year 1999, their combination adds to 11

The name thing was crazy! Definitely new party trick.

As for the dates....

I don't buy it too much. Just because, dates are just made up. Its not like febuary the 1st the earth will be in the same exact position as febuary 1st the year after or before, sure its close, but our calendar is not 100% accurate.

Plus the whole BC AD thing. who is to say that dates mean anything.

Born in 1984 and will be 27. 84+27=111. Neato!

You're brain is making connections on the suggestion that certain numbers mean something when found in large quantities.

In other words: you are falling victim to the power of suggestion.
The year is 2011, not 11.
The month is January, not 1.
You age is a real number not an integer (we just use integer's because it's easier). So you're 22.68213ish, not 22.
Time is relative to the observer. so it's not 11 everywhere.
There are millions of people who are 11 or 22.
There are millions more who are not.

Statistically you are bound to encounter some numbers more frequently than others:
eg: Looking at the clock because it's getting close to lunch time/bed time (chance of 11:11)

Ofcourse it ads up to 111 the year before it would have added to 110 and the next year it will add up to 112 ... GEEZ

For example, i am born in 93 and i will be 18 this year so 93+18=111, next year i will be 19 so next year 93+19=112 ... its just basic logical thinking + math ...

Yes, I posted that yesterday. I didn't get into it until I realized it was the same thing for everyone I know, including my 2 young daughters.

This thread is posted under the Prophecy/Predictions forum after all. There are many, many people on ATS who are into wide and varied topics so don't be so shocked at coming across some threads that seem "out there" to you. ATS wouldn't be ATS if people were limited in talking about what it is they are into to. That would be scary.

I also got 111, but then again so will everyone, not some mass conspiracy just some numbers.

For the people making the number of the year into something special, consider this.

The year 2011 is not the actual year, the question "what time is it" is the must misunderstood question. The real year would be around 15,000,000,000ish

Wife's birthday=1974=74
Her age this year=37

so 74+37=111

my birthday= 1964=64
my age this year=47
so 64+47=111

I may add that we both SHARE the same birthday on the same month , we were both born on the same date of that month,Spooky eh.

Ya so I must not be special or yer theory about 111 doesn't "add up" because I was born in 85 and ill be 25 in Oct. This adds to 110 not add up to 111. Any thoughts???

Stop and think about what you are saying:

Take the last two digits of your birth year.....
add the age you will be this year (in other words, count forward from your birth date to the year 2011, but disregarding the previous 2000 years) how can that possibly NOT add to 111?

The fact that anybody finds this surprising just boggles my mind.

Are we that bad at math and that easily amused?

I tried to point that out much earlier in this thread except I actually tried to estimate the age of the universe based on real data.

Shouldn't Year 0 be the start of the universe or something like that? (making the current year 13,752,398,921ish?)

I realize that this is a Prophecy/Prediction thread and what I was trying to get across is a need to give our opinion of the merits of said prophecy/prediction through a similar star based system. (the collapse/explode bit was mostly for humorous reasons)
