The only country in the Middle East that has ever attacked America is Israel. In the summer of 1954 Israel was caught red handed trying to blow up some British and American buildings in Egypt.

The Mossad referred to this covert operation as Operation Susannah. Most people refer to this failed false flag operation as the Lavon Affair, named after the Israeli defense minister Pinhas Lavon.

Israel wanted a war with Egypt but wanted America and the UK to fight it with them.
They were to blow up American and British buildings in Egypt, hopefully killing as many American and British people as they could. Egypt would then be blamed for the attacks, producing the appropriate levels of outrage in both America and the UK to support a declaration of war against Egypt. This was a classic false flag operation.

Fortunately, one of the Israeli Mossad’s bombs malfunctioned and exploded prematurely leading to the capture and arrest of the Mossad agents. Israel, caught red-handed, had to admit to the world their guilt in this affair. Pinhas Lavon had to resign in disgrace.

What did America do when they learned the truth about this? America simply gave Israel more money and weapons. About 50 years after this attack, the Israeli agents involved in this operation were given awards for being heroes by the Israeli government. This award ceremony was not reported in the Israeli controlled American media.

In June of 1967, during the six day war between Israel and Egypt, Israel attempted another false flag operation by attacking the U.S.S. Liberty, an American Naval Intelligence ship sailing in international waters. Israel viciously attacked the American ship for several hours killing 34 Americans and severely injuring 171 more.

Israel wanted to sink the U.S.S. Liberty and have the world believe Egypt was responsible. The ship refused to sink and the Israelis were caught red handed once again being the lying and deceptive demonic scumbags they truly are. So, what did the American government do in response to this vicious attack against America? They gave Israel more money and weapons.

After more than nine years of gathering evidence, virtually every serious historian now believes Israel was heavily involved in the vicious attacks against America on September 11th, 2001. Of course, they blamed it on Osama Bin Laden who, according to the FBI, had nothing to do with the crime.

Since 9/11/2001, hundreds of serious historians have come to the same conclusion that Israel now controls both Wall Street and the U.S. Government and uses the American military and intelligence assets to commit crimes all around the earth, destroying America in the process.

I read just lately, that isreali mossad is implicated in the death of prime miinister Harriri in Lebanon.Th fall of its goverment this week is tied directly to the sitting govs reluctance to reject the flawed investigation into the murder,and that pressure from the US will likely see that report accepted, which blames Syria, and Hesbollah for the killing.
The Isrealis are guilty of other false flag bombings and killing as well....

Just for the sake of accuracy, Israel would not be considered the enemy of the US Government if the government were complicit in those events. If the attack on the USS Liberty was designed to be a false flag to get the US into the war, it apparently had the backing of the US Government. Both governments say it was a case of mistaken identity, but anyone who has sailed in the US Navy knows that the US flag is flying at all times when you are at sea. Also, the captain of the Liberty was assured that jet fighters would be available within 10 minutes if needed, but the attack started about 2:00 pm, but no American help showed up until over 2 hrs. later.

Israel may be an ally of the US Government, but that doesn’t make them a friend of the American people.

Yeah, well I recall that US forces fired on British armed forces during the initial attacks during Operation Freedom, and I suppose that "accident" is indicative that the US is the enemy of Britain.

Come on.

No problem. Just take over the country, make it their own, from within.

Politics, lobbyism, media manipulation....like it or not, that is what they did.

I certainly agree that the attack on the USS Liberty was a direct attack of aggression that has not been sufficiently dealt with by the US, nor will it ever be. But I don't think this 'proves' that Israel is an 'enemy' of the US. The Liberty was an intelligence gathering ship much like the Pueblo. Israel was about to attack the Golan Heights. A US presence was jeopardizing the mission, so they took action then claimed it was all a big mistake. Of course, it wasn't a mistake at all, but the Israeli's were acting tactically in response to an immediate situation. When they get into an "Israel must survive" mode of thinking they will go after anyone, as history has adequately proven. For the record, their course of action was successful. They prevented the Liberty from discovering and blowing their plans and there were no severe recriminations as a reult.

The attack against the Liberty is well-proven; the Israeli's even admit it. The facts of the case are not open to dispute. To blame Israel for 9/11 is simply another conspiracy theory without any evidence. Indeed, the evidence for a jihadist attack is much more compelling (except here on ATS). I know. I know. Some people here say they have all the evidence they need. And we never landed on the moon, and reptilian gods will eat our souls. Oh, and the Holocaust never happened.

So you really can't make the case that Israel is "an enemy" of the US. They certainly put their own country first, surprise. They did attack the Liberty for local and tactical reasons, but they had no identifiable part in 9/11 where this idea exists only on the conspirational fringe by people who will believe pretty much any conspiracy they can get their hands on.

They KNEW it was an American ship and fired upon it.


Our Pentagon TOLERATES Israel killing Americans because they work together. Without Israel's help the Pentagon would never see the funding they have today.

I think the South Korean Naval vessel that was sunk was sunk by Israel's submarine. They've done clandestine missions like that before....and they wanted the world to quit looking at the Gaza Blockade.

Israel will kill Americans freely without repercussions and they WILL have the full backing of the Pentagon and alll of our military officers to do so.

So Mossad/Israel had already infiltrated the US Military Command? That still doesn't mean USA was also in the planning of the false flag attack.

2 June 1967. Liberty departs Rota at top speed of 18 knots en route to a point 13 miles off the Gaza Strip, well within international waters.

5 June 1967, 7:45 (all times cited are local Liberty time). Israel attacks Egypt, simultaneously putting out false reports that Egypt had attacked first. Captain McGonagle asks Vice Admiral William Martin at Sixth Fleet headquarters to send a destroyer as an armed escort and auxiliary communication center, noting that Liberty’s “self defense capability limited to four .50 caliber machine guns and small arms.”

6 June 1967. Admiral Martin replies “Liberty is clearly marked United States ship in international waters, not a participant in the conflict and not a reasonable subject for attack by any nation . . . Request for escort denied.”

7 June 1967, shortly before midnight. Office of the U.S. Defense Attaché in Tel Aviv sends coded message to U.S. National Security Agency (NSA) that Israel intends to attack the Liberty if her course is not changed.

8 June 1967:

0030: U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff Joint Reconnaissance Center (JRC) orders Liberty to go from 12½ to 20 nautical miles off coast. An error by the U.S. Army Communications Center at the Pentagon results in message never reaching the ship.

0130: JRC orders Liberty to approach no closer than 100 miles to the coasts of Egypt and Israel. Due to misrouting it will take 16½ hours for message to reach Liberty.

0603: Reconnaissance aircraft reports to Israeli naval headquarters that “GTR-5” is written on the ship, identifying it as an NSA intelligence vessel.

1055: Pinchas Pinchasy, naval liaison officer at Israeli air force headquarters, reports to Naval Headquarters that the ship cruising slowly off El Arish is “an electromagnetic audio-surveillance ship of the U.S. Navy, named Liberty, whose marking was GTR-5.”

1405: Three unmarked Dassault Mystère IIIC jets attack with napalm and rockets. Ship tries to contact Sixth Fleet headquarters, but five of Liberty’s six shore circuits are jammed. Radio operator manages to send distress signal from Captain McGonagle: “Under attack by unidentified jet aircraft, require immediate assistance.” Attack lasts approximately 22 minutes, involving 30 to 35 sorties, killing nine men and wounding around 60. Israeli pilot reports to base: “Great, wonderful, she’s burning, she’s burning.”

1409: Captain Joe Tully of the USS Saratoga acknowledges call for help, dispatches four F-4 Phantom jets, and informs Liberty that help is on the way. Within minutes U.S. Secretary of Defense Robert MacNamara orders rescue jets to return: “Tell Sixth Fleet to get those aircraft back immediately.” Rear Admiral Geis relays message and tells them to re-launch jets in 90 minutes.

1505: Message sent to Liberty from Sixth Fleet: “Sending aircraft to cover you. Surface units on the way.” Liberty is off the air and does not receive the message.

1515: After the order to “prepare to abandon ship” comes over the loudspeaker system, the lifeboats are lowered into the water. Israeli torpedo boats move in closer and fire on them, as well as those still on deck, making them all unusable. “I watched with horror as the floating life rafts were riddled with holes,” recalled Lieutenant Lloyd Painter, in charge of the evacuation. Said Petty Officer Rowley, who also witnessed the event: “They didn’t want anyone to live.” After destroying the life rafts, the Israeli boats departed. Next, two Israeli SA-321 Super Frelon Hornet assault helicopters carrying soldiers in battle dress circle ship several times, then depart.

1545: USS Saragota and America launch second rescue flights.

1555: Liberty regains its transmitter; still has no receiver.

1600: Liberty transmits: “Flash, flash, flash. I pass in the blind. We are under attack by aircraft and high-speed surface craft.” Deputy Director Louis Tordella is informed by Deputy Director of Joint Reconnaissance Center, Captain Vineyard, that “consideration was then being given by some unnamed Washington authorities to sink the Liberty in order that newspaper men would be unable to photograph her and thus inflame public opinion against the Israelis.” Tordella makes an “impolite” comment about the idea, writes a memo of the conversation for the record, and stores it away.

1639: Secretary of Defense McNamara again orders rescue planes recalled; order is confirmed by President Johnson because “we are not going to embarrass an ally.” Naval Air Attaché at U.S. embassy in Tel Aviv, Commander Ernest Castle, is summoned to Israeli Defense Forces headquarters.

1729: Rear Admiral Lawrence Geis, commander of the Sixth Fleet in the Mediterranean, protests decision to recall rescue planes to Secretary of Defense McNamara. At that point President Johnson comes on the phone and says he didn’t care if the ship sunk, he would not embarrass his allies. Admiral Geis tells Lt. Commander David Lewis, head of the Liberty’s NSA group, of the remark, but asks him not to repeat it until after he dies. It is a promise Lewis will honor.

14 June 1967: Liberty arrives in Malta. Total news blackout imposed. Rear Admiral Kidd warns crew: “You are never, repeat never, to discuss this with anyone, not even your wives. If you do, you will be court-martialed and will end your lives in prison or worse.” Secretary of Defense McNamara informs media that, “Department of Defense will have no further comment.”

I usually don't copy and paste so much, and I omitted a lot of things on the website, but several things are pretty clear.

1. Israel knew well in advance it was a US ship. Even before the first fly-over.

2. Israel fully intended to destroy the ship, no survivors, no witnesses.

3. Senior officials in the Johnson administration, including Johnson himself, took active steps to insure that no rescue from US forces would arrive in time.

I also thinks it strains credulity that the Joint Reconnaissance Center (JRC) failed on two separate instances to contact the ship to send them to a safer location. I guess radio waves were slower in 1967.
