Views Column

Did a search (FAQ included) and could not find the answer. So quick question to the general community.

The "views" column. Does that count the number of distinct users who have read the thread? or does it count +1 everytime I access that page?

Hmmmm.

Woudn't it be more interesting to measure how much interest a thread is generating by counting the number of people viewing it?

Maybe by logging the isp addresses somehow - or with cookies

This would include people that read the thread but don't necessarily post rather than being a measure based on how often the posters check back.

Just my opinion.
