I can never imagine Donald Trump winning the 2012 election or ever being President. If he did become President I wouldn't be surprised he paid a lot of people under the table.

Hey, look at America today! What do you see? Do you believe we can have a figure like Ron Paul getting along with crooked government officials, business people and so forth?

Me too.

He reminds me of "new" money - - trying to get accepted into the "old money" boys club.

I think he's acquired everything but - - Status.

He wants official legitimate recognition and acceptance into the "Elite Club".

Its the one thing he can't buy.

If we think of who can beat Obama, based on who we think may be running, or is...
I think TRUMP is the only one than can go one on one with Obama and beat him.

What charities does Trump give to? What are his stances on poverty, homelessness, unemployment, the elderly and Social Security? What does he stand for? How did he ever struggle? Does he know what it is like to be poor and live paycheck to paycheck.
Just what we need another out of touch rich person. He would probably cut or privatize social security, cut medicare and screw over the poorest/weakest in the USA. The republicans really wanted to throw our elderly under the bus by elminating Medicare. What makes anyone think that Trump will be any different.
With Trump in charge so hello to Trumpsvilles, ghetto towns, hello to the rich continuing to get all the breaks and the poor will suffer more and more.
Just Say NO to Trump! I am voting for Obama again at least he wants to protect social security and medicare. Obama is really trying to fix our finicial problems. $1 trillion in spending cuts is not chump change!

I hate to be logical - practical - and realistic - - - since I lean liberal in some areas - - - but our planet is bursting at the seams. The current political focus seems to be supporting only those who have the ability to stand on their own.

Its business! And Trump is about business.

If anyone still thinks politics is about humanity - - - its time to wake up.

Politics may not be, but government has to be.

Government needs to be capable of providing some basic services to its neediest citizens, or else how can it call itself a benevolent government for the people?

From things Trump has said in the past, he understands the importance of such programs.

As for charities:

Donald Trump has supported the following charities:

Celebrity Fight Night Foundation
Children with AIDS
David Foster Foundation
Friends of Scotland
Jimmy Fund
Make A Child Smile Appeal
Make-A-Wish Foundation
Mississippi Animal Rescue League
Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center
Neurofibromatosis, Inc.
Operation Smile
Paralyzed Veterans of America
Pediatric Epilepsy Project
Reef Relief
Smile Train
The Doe Fund
Wounded Warrior Project

Sometimes ya just have to be real.

Who says government is benevolent?

OK - - realistically - - for any large corporation to run - - they have to have workers. But they don't have to have dead weight.

In past centuries - - there was room to grow - - to move somewhere else. That is not the case today.

Some people say we have been through these doomsday times before. But we haven't - - - because we had alternatives. We do not have those alternatives today - - - unless colonizing Mars is on the near future agenda.

Everything is changing. I'm not blind to it.

Trump is a powerful corporate shark. He's probably perfect to fit this new government.

If you vote Trump in, then God help you!!! You had enough trouble getting rid of Bush!!!
Makes me shudder, the mere thought of it and makes the hair stand up on the back of my neck.
Please don't do it, don't give Trump leway. If you do you will very sorry. Just as they are here with this silly childish coalition, that are systematically recking this country and blaming previous governments!
Everyone is crying now for being so stupid and not doing thier homework, before voting this shower of shyte in!
All i can say is you made your bed, you gotta lie in it and i will say the same to my friends the other side of the pond if you vote Obama out and someone like Trump gets in!
Look at that half wit Shorts'n-word'? What a plum he is? Wake up and smell the coffee!!!

EG Boris 'the idiot' Johnson.....Mayor of London! They voted the first village idiot in and look what's happening?

Please i beg you, don't fall for trumps claptrap. He's a money man and will crush anything that stands in his way!
He wipes his arse with the stuff, he don't care about anyones feelings!!!

Donald Trump is the Democrats' wet dream. He's captaining the failboat into Crazyland and people are buying tickets for the ride. He will get Obama elected like nobody else can.

It seems to me that options for President are limited. Obama is no changearama (monster) like his pre-election oratory charma suggested. Its too late for Clinton (maybe). P...n does too much haylin and would probably nuke the Chinese or whoever else she fancied even her fellow teaparty mob. Huck is no chuck and Rom may just bomb! Paul not so tall and wont get the call! So that leaves Trump with all the Aces, who lays out his cards, speaks some harsh truths (forgetting the birther mystery!) so maybe he could make the frame and end up ahead of the game just like Ronny although this would now be Donny!!!!

Or is there a mystery player in the wings whos got plenty of shillings!!!

To borrow a line from David Corn -

You mean by spending it into unsurmountable debt on a failed revenue stream in order to give up ownership to someone who can run it better so he can walk away with a small residual naming rights agreement or by getting Richard Hatch to call David Cassidy feminine and seeing if fur flies? Either way it sounds great!

Was or becoming?

Today - - government is becoming a corporation. Yes you need people/workers to keep a corporation functioning.

But you do not need dead weight. Just like in the animal kingdom - - - only the strong survive. The weak and sick endanger survival.

Hard and Cold - - Yep! But that's where we are at IMO.

I'm not going to fantasize that its some big social Kumbaya.

Probably.

I think most people will be afraid of Trump.
