haunted picture?

About 10 years ago my mother had bought a picture which was one of a set of three. the night she brought strange things happened suddenly. The first night : strange shadows of people walking down the hallway and lights turning on in the middle of the night. In the mourning three puddles of blood in the shape of a triangle. I know it was blood because of the way it cleaned up on the tile floor: this wasnt from anyone in the house. The next night was pretty much the same exept in the mourning every window and door in the house was wide open and our 110 pound rotweiler was was laying in the middle of the floor sleeping. that day my mother took the painting back to the people she bought it from and nothing else strange happened again. Any one had anything like this happen to them
