The 13th Zodiac: Ophiuchus

And I was unaware of a 13th zodiac, or that it existed before. It had been posted today, at about 12pm TX time, and it's now 3. Sorry I believed it was breaking news.

please dont believe,they are trying to distract the gods from your every day protection.

Western astrology has been jacked up now for about 2000 years thanks to Ptolemy.

India was the only ones to continually update their system.

In the West, everyone has been off one sign for quite some time now.

Ive been waitng since i was a kid for this to come out in mainstream new
Ophiuchus the serpent bearer
Which is supposed to comme into view after 2012 when the sun makes the other half of its journey when it rises in the middle of the milky way.
When one thinks about it. When morons decided to change to tue gregorian calendar and make daylight savings time and leap year. Is the december 21,2012 that happens in the near future the correct date? or are we behind or ahead of schedual

I've heard this before - but what I don't understand is, if I was a cancer which describes me to a T... has now changed to gemini, which I can't barely find one trait that can describe my personalty accurately according to the descriptions. Even in eastern astrology I'm a gemini, but that is so far off base it isn't even funny. I guess I don't really have a point except that the descriptors seem flawed under the thirteen and eastern systems anyhow...

Alright I knew of this sign briefly but can you explain the "serpent bearer"? Is this a planet that we are going to collide with? the planet on the other side of the Sun? I know that there supposedly has not been any concrete evidence of Nibiru so I am at ease...but news like this and the Sun rising 2 days earlier sets off alarms. These alarms say something is clearly disturbing the Earth.
So what then? What is supposed to happen?

does this mean my ex wife is no longer an airheaded Libra but now a virgo will she still be an airheaded?

I wish I was a bit more of an astronomer so I could more carefully guage how this would effect the interpretation of the precession of the equinox. Just from a quick glance at the dates it would suggest we have been in the Age of Aquarius for quite a time now but people are still running around with their Piscean fish stickers on the back of their cars and still behaving in a Piscean manner.

I must have read a different article and do not recall this saying anything about not being valid until after 2009 - though I am to assume that is for sun sign astrological purposes. I would still like to think there might be something in the stars to suggest we are entering a new age of man. Despite what the stars say I do believe we are. The 20th century brought such profound changes about the way man lives and relates on this planet it is obvious we are indeed going through changes.

It is only through the advances in technology and other feats we have accomplished in the past 100-odd years that gives us insight into understanding ancient scriptures and interpreting other indications. We can view the Bible through the eyes of the advanced civilization's inhabitants that were being written about in awe. Now that those feats appear less "miraculous" we begin to understand our relationship to the "gods" - we are they, in a sense.

Don't give me a new constellation around the ecliptic and tell me it changes the meaning of things. It seems so fitting and appropriate that we are at the verge of an awakening where it will be necessary to put away Piscean attitudes, beliefs, and symbolism in order to develop; it is those things that are going to hold us back as the child refuses to let go of his fairy tales and accepts the truth about his Santa being a rich symbol of the good and giving in the world and not the old man to write nasty letters to when all his wide-eyed desires go unfulfilled.

We have reached the age of spiritual puberty. Can we admit to ourselves we are growing up and put aside childish tantrums now?

I wonder what we are only coming upon this revelation now. Doesn't it just naturally make sense to have 13 zodiacs. I do not know why everyone seems so surprised. There are 12 months yet we have more than 4 weeks in each. If you added the extra days together then you would naturally get 13 months of 4 weeks each.
So now I am a Taurus, I could say that I am the perfect Gemini, two-sided, split in my every thought or decision. Now if I think I am a Taurus will I begin to think I portray traits of a Taurus?

We say that this is something new because of the way Earth is moving and we are in a different position than we were thousands of years ago. My thought is it was always there, we have now only discovered it. Perhaps it was concealed.

It seems the world needs a new spiritual outlet. For many portions of the bible seem improbable, so let us adapt it so that it may fit the current minds. Gods are aliens perhaps from Nibiru. Great thought? Great propaganda? Either way we are screwed.

Can anyone provide a valid link showing when this change has applied? (What year do you have to be born for this "change in signs" to effect you?)

Its been known for over 2000 years...it was known that the Sun passed in front of Ophiuchus when they fixed the wheel. For convenience, 12 signs fit easier into the wheel.

Some will surely see it as Evil.

I look at Ophiuchus like this. Its a 'choice' sign. You can choose to control the snake, control the animal side of man within you....or you can choose to release the snake, allowing chaos to be released.

Not sure I would ever get my head round that!

Take a good look at Virgo and see if Virgo offers you growth in this life, a deeper way of growth in soul/spirit....offering you things to work on or seeing a different deeper side of your self.

Libra is likely very natural to you, it being a past sign of you.

No problems...embrace both signs (hence my name LeoVirgo)

Aries is likely his more natural nature...and Pisces offers him a deeper path in this life if he dares to seek that.

Pisces is the age we are in as well, and the time of Spring. He is born under the sign of the age we are in....this may be showing he is 'up to date' in cycles and incarnations.

It has been this way a long time...but man fixed the wheel about 2000 years ago and ignored/left out Ophiuchus and ignored that the signs are of different sizes too. The Sun has been passing in front of Ophiuchus for thousands of years.

Ive heard something about a 13th zodiac sign but i couldnt believe it. I thought it wasone of the locked miracles of the dozen/ like the dozen strands of dna we have or 12 planets. I thought to believe that it was the elites who created it because of their obsession with being one above god. Any thoughts?
