I hate VH1 with a passion.

Hows a channel that is slipping in ratings climb back into relevancy?

Heres how:

*Exec Meeting*

" Hey Ive got an idea! Lets play off peoples nostalga with lame retread clips shows and air them almost every day on a never ending loop of programming!"

"Thats great Bill! Speaking of clip shows lets make about a thousand different lists of random # and air those whenever we run out of nostalga shows!"

" Oh and to keep up on the star whoring lets also run non stop shows gloryfying the over the top and souless life of celebrities."

I hate these clip shows that almost run ever day rain sleet or snow.

Or the mindless and repetitive glorification of celebrity money and lifestyle.

I thought this was a #ing music station! Bunch of bastards.

I mean Behind the Music was good but they #ed that up to when they ran about 100000 episodes a day.

Come on VH1 youve beaten the horse into hamburger why dont you run a couple videos and relax.

Free Hal sparks from your clip show hell, and stop the list shows before I have to go learn how to make mail bombs.

I don't think there is a single show worse then I Love The 80's. I hated the 80's, I don't want to be reminded of them. Ever

hey i wanna see i love the 90's ok! thats my decade and i wanna see if i missed anything. i enjoyed the 80's one cause i get to see how messed up the generation i was born in was. 80's = scary the only good things to come out of the 80's were metalica and bad religion!

Ivan I agree! I cant wait! hahahhaha! I don't care about all of VH1's clip shows, because all of the crap put together is not half as bad as MTV's Newlywed's...and you all know it. I saw that show once. I can't believe I sat there and watched it. AHHH!

Besides, stick around until 2 or 3 and VH1 has Insomniac Music Theater, mucho goodness.

VH1 sucks ass.

Thats the whole reason it sucks off underage child pros, a music channel should have music on sometime before infomercials and the 6am news.

well hey, you cant bash VH1 too badly for the whole "music station that doesnt play music." theyve really always been more of a pop culture station than am usic video station.

plus most people that are into the music they play on insomniac music theater are only sane around 2 or 3 in the morning, so it actually fits perfectly into our schedules.

EDIT- I do agree those, the fabulous life shows kill me, and theyve played the guns n roses behind the music about 500 times now. im starting to get antsy

They should bring the headbangers ball from MTV2 and air re-runs of that on VH1. The ones that I missed. That would restore some of its dignity.

Hey, I love those "I love the 80s" and "100 most erotic videos" specials etc.

The only problem IS they make me CRAVE to see the entire videos again. And yes, it is annoying that you hardly ever SEE videos anymore. Certainly not classic ones.

But MTV doesn't play videos anymore either. And some of the crap they pass off as shows...yes, Newlyweds especially, is a lot worse then anything I've seen on VH1.

Bring back the music videos. Bring back "the Big 80s" and Pop up Video and I may start watching again more often.

I liked behind the music with Billy Idol, that guy is a riot.

Well, VH1 is not as bad as GAC. How is it possible to make one channel dedicated only to f'n country music? And it also seems to be the only f'n music channel anymore that actually plays music videos! What is up with that?

Behind the Music was a good series. I was looking forward to the GNR (Gun's N' F'n Roses) Behind the Music, but it didn't show anything new or enlightening that I didn't already know. That pissed me off. :-( Although I can't believe how bad drugs have f'd up Steven Adler over the years (GNR's original drummer), the man can't even talk properly anymore! It's a shame too, he was a great drummer.

yeah, seing Adler was crazy, I thought theyd talk abouthim but not actually show him.

behind the music was never a real enlightening show for any of the musicians ive seen protrayed. too bad, some have interesting llives. sadly, inside the actors studio proves to be more entertaining and enlightening that behind the music...since when did this happen?!?!?

FUSE TV plays video, and Juliya is hawt!

Scat, actor's studio always cracks me up (most celebs seem to have a God "complex"). I recently saw James Lipton on Conan and he did that "In the Year 2000" crap skit (Conan has perfected it :-), it was funny as hell. But James Lipton kind of gets on my nerves on his own show, lol.

An interesting night. Disagreed with Ly, now you KM. I need a "I survived the 80's" T-shirt. I listened to metal in the 80's because rock was DEAD. Billy Idol? HAHAHAHAHAHA. 3 bands of interest: GnR AND Nirvana saved Rock. The other, Deep Purple, the only rock band from the 70's that didn't suck. Sorry.

VH1 is the spawn of Satan. I hate the channel, im still praying for the day where it gets cut off air. I hate it!!! grrrrrrrr ahhhhhh!!!!
