Strange Lights Reported near Fort Rucker, Alabama, Military Operations Halted

www.ufocasebook.com

Strange lights were reported to have been seen by many people in the area of Newton, Alabama. Many 911 calls came in.

My husband, who works on Fort Rucker, called me to say that some military operations were shut down because of these lights.

People he works with reported they had seen many black government vehicles rushing to the Newton area where these lights were being reported.

One co-worker said he found his truck had been moved unexplainably to the end of his driveway when he woke up this morning.

My husband also said the military was already trying to keep a lid on this even

I have been a long time reader of ATS and only now found a story worth reporting. Strange orange lights have been seen and loads of 911 calls placed. The military are already on the scene so details will be hard to find however it appears this is definately worth watching as the story is popping up on various sites and seems credible. I would like to watch this story but im in uk and its bed time so i hope someone keeps this story alive long enough for the word to spread.

Interesting, I hope we get updates - when the military gets involved theres usually a reason. I think the meteor is a separate incident but time will tell.

Ft. Rucker is a military installation.. seeing government vehicles driving around at ANY time is not uncommon..

A truck being moved to the end of the driveway... garbage, sorry.

yeah, the aliens were soooooo interested in the drive train of his f 150, that they probed it, sucked all the gas out for their trip home and left it on the opposite side of the driveway... BWAHAHAHAH

The original source of this case is mufon.com "Latest Reports", specifically, this is the exact report from Alabama on 1/11/2011:

Strange lights were reported to have been seen by many people in the area of Newton Alabama. Many 911 calls came in. My husband, who works on Fort Rucker, called me to say that some military operations were shut down because of these lights. People he works with reported they had seen many black government vehicles rushing to the Newton area where these lights were being reported. One co worker said he found his truck had been moved unexplainably to the end of his driveway when he woke up this morning. My husband also said the military was already trying to keep a lid on this event, and telling people not to talk about it. Nothing in the news at this time. I am still seeking more information.

This report is not corroborated, it's anonymous, and it's a single source. Basically, it could be a hoax and probably is unless someone can corroborate the story from a second or more sources.

Move along folks nothing to see.
Not now, not ever.

Edit to add this would not be the first time this happened, so its likely it could happen again.

Several Alabama airfield employees watched a series of orange lights in the sky appear and disappear southwest of Cairns Army Airfield between 9 to 9:20 p.m. on March 12,

If you had bothered to actually read the article and comprehend it, Newton is outside of the fort by several miles, and the statement was of military vehicles heading towards the Newton area, not moving on the base...

I also fail to find any mention of "aliens" anywhere, just the sighting of orange orbs near the fort.

It is also 20 miles from the J N Farley nuclear power plant at Dothan; anything out of the ordinary in this area would definitely draw attention...

The source is not credible. I don't know why, but this sounds like people are trying to get attention as usual..

I live right in this area and can say that everything in the area was closed due to the ice storm that we received here. They closed schools and everything and that was on Monday. It is very probable that only mission essential were to be on the base due to the weather, so because I am here and know all this happened that I don't believe they closed the base due to lights in the sky. I am not saying that none were reported and they didn't investigate. I have not heard anything at all on news etc about reported lights, and if so I hate I missed this as it is so close to me. I know several people from Rucker and will ask tomorrow if they know anything!!
