Ok, this is a stretch but I was checking out word associations and found out that "beak" is sometimes used as slang for coc aine and "bird" is slang for a brick of drugs - usually coc aine.  Jared told his friend Tierney in 2008 when they went to the Mars Volta concert that he wasn't partying any more and subsequently lost ten pounds and failed a drug test.  Is it possible that he tried to quit partying but then got into coc aine?  Cocaine can lead to psychotic episodes.  He has trouble sleeping, and that is supposed to be an aftereffect of coc aine use.  Finally, there have been reports questioning how Jared could have afforded the expensive Glock 19 as he was unemployed. Maybe he could afford it because he was dealing coc aine?

Here are possible references:

Bird - brick of drugs, usually coc aine
Beak - coc aine, also "nose" also "schnaz" (starhit "shnaz"?)
Red eye, blue iris - is Jared's eye color blue?  Maybe referring to his own red eyes from lack of sleep due to the aftereffects of coc aine use?
No feathers, but small grey scales - scales used to weigh drugs?
The bird is on his shoulder - he feels the weight of the problem?

When he was in court the BBC showed an artists sketch and it looked like he had a tattoo on his head, but in all the sketches i can find on the news site's he has a bit of hair (and it don't look like him) wonder if he really does have a tattoo on his head? maybe a bird? have to wait till we see more on the news.

I am happy that this thread opened. I was disappointed when the last thread closed. But is also made me take a step back. In my excitement over NASA 2012 Nibiru and a Secret Connection between JLL and Giffords I was looking in the wrong direction. I think I have something interesting to add. All JLL talked about is Law, Police, one little poem he wrote was about his college and tuition. In my conclusion I had 2 theories on this Bird poem. The first I will keep to myself because it is all fantasy. In my fantasy research I had alot of fun and learned a few things up there in Space but it did not feel right so maybe I will save it for a later time. Now my second one fits so closely into why JLL was upset. So here goes. A little sloppy but I think you will get it.

So let me begin.....First here is the poem. I will number 1-10 for each sentence. Put it together in your own way.
Oh and remember JLL loves word play.


You shouldn't be afraid of the stars. There's a new bird on my right shoulder. The beak is two feet and lime green. The rarest bird on earth, there's no feathers, but small grey scales all over the body. It's with one large red eye with a light blue iris. The bird feet are the same as a woodpecker. This new bird and there's only one, the gender is not female or male. The wings of this bird are beautiful; 3 feet wide with the shape of a bald eagle that you could die for. If you can see this bird then you will understand. You think this bird is able to chat about a government?


1- "Shouldn't" meaning your not supposed to be and "Stars" the Stars on the Flag

2- New "Bird On" meaning "Burden" and "Right" meaning his rights or our rights. he carries on his shoulder. Let me go onto that flag burning Video for a second. When he says "Do you see the bird on my shoulder". No Bird= No Rights. He has none or we have none.

3- The "Beak" well beak is also known as "Bill" as in the "Bill Of Rights" the only thing I got out "Green" is the color of "Envy".... "Green with Envy" is different than "Red with Envy". Green means "Motivated By"

4- "Rarest Bird on Earth" meaning he feels alone. "Grey Scale" meaning that nothing is "Black or White" and body is the Government or something that has to do with our Judicial system.

5- "Red Eye" bulls eye or Target. "Iris" IRS...now I am not sure but I remember him being upset about getting kicked out of community college. And Paying for education. maybe he owes money and feels since he didn't get the grade he felt so deserved and payed for.....

6- "Woodpecker Feet" the only thing about there feet is the grasp. That is what makes their feet different.
so "Grasp" or a "Strong Hold"

7- This "New Bird" or "Burden" is not a person it is the "System"

8- Now "Beautiful Wings" kind of got me stumped but I feel that he loves his Country "America the Beautiful" but its flawed. "3 foot wide" is just added to make the poem connect. "Bald Eagle" represents America and you "could" Die for your Country.

9- "If you can see this "Burden" he holds than you will "Understand"

10- "Chat to a "Government" well Giffords is a Government Official and he really wanted to have a "Chat" wanted to talk to her about some concerns maybe she would be able to help him in some way.

Oh and I want to add that like I said before I had 2 Theories on this poem. Totally different from one another. No matter what direction I wanted to go I found what I wanted it to be! The only thing different is I took a step back and looked at my most logical reasoning.

It's metaphorical. This guy clearly thinks he is a revolutionary. He thinks he is the good guy, he made his stand, and yet resorting to violence is almost never the way to deal with one's problems. This is clearly about an individual in Tuscon who doesn't like the idea of border security, the idea of a police state.

Well hello again to everyone. See most of the old "gang" is here. In the other thread I made mention of NASA and the new Orion patch. I still think this is relevant. I also find it a little odd that a huge green meteor was spotted over the SE United States.

Even though he owned a gun like alot of people I do not think he was really into weaponry...like alot of others who own hand guns. He bought that gun for a specific reason. we all know why now. Any way did you read my post. It was a simple personal poem about how he felt. JLL had alot of the same troubles we all have had except he became deranged. Due to feeling not be accepted for who he is form himself and others and not being able to be understood. Drugs and alcohol played a large part at the end. His sexuality I feel also played apart in his Depression. He is gay through my readings from his Good Bye my space messages I feel he might be in between as in Hermaphrodite. maybe another reason he felt alone in this world. I am in no way condoning his actions but there are alot of JLL's out there he just didn't know how to be helped.

Exactly i think the bird is a metaphor for the government, or CIA its a symbolism of mind control.
Recall all the media said he was "obsessed with mind control".
They planted the idea in his head.
He stated to friends, "He cannot rest until he acted out his mission" (something along those lines)

It should be obvious to everyone that it was a set up to take out the Rep. and Judge and cause a distraction of whats really going on....whats going on with the birds, fish and dead animals and haarp....maybe we should research whats going on there. Because if in fact (which i believe) those videos werent even made by him, at least not his concious self, we will never find out what he is saying about this "bird"

What he was rying to say is that we are all supseptible to mind control. Movies, commercials, media....etc. ect.


JLL's mind was not in control...in fact it was out of control. Believe me I have torn this case apart regarding himself. As much as I like a good conspiracy as every one else on here this is not one of them. Sometimes we have to step back and just see something for what it is. All these inconsistencies of her dying at the scene or the 911 tapes of him running away...well imagine the chaos. Guns shooting' bullets flying into the crowd of people running ducking falling to the ground. Not one can be able to stand and just watch all that is happening. Everyone is running around scared trying to help the wounded. Holding their children close to them...falling to the ground screaming crying yelling. He was extremely depressed, confused alone and wanted answers that no one could give him. Giffords pissed him off. He believed that she could help him or give him answers...when she ignored him or his questions he flipped. The one person he felt that was able to help or listen to him turned her back. His last effort to be understood. His only chance for answers. So he lost it and did this terrible tragedy....killed her with something she so believed in contoling. Shot her with one of the guns she wanted to control. A slap in the face in his eyes.

Since so many governments around the world use variations of it, I'd say the bird doesn't just chat about governments, but tells them what to do.

JLL was not as deep as some want him to be. He was just a lost soul. A person who liked to play with words. Reaching out to anyone that would understand. I understand the rational part of who he used to be but most of us are lucky enough and have the skills and family/friend support that he seemed in his mind was missing. I do feel some grief for him but that does not give anyone the right to take away others lives. Those who died could have done great things in the future but because of his actions we will never get to see that greatness...Christina Green the cute intelligent 9 year old girl I believe would have done great things in her life for the better good. She at such a young age already wanted to make a better change for her country and the people whom shared it with her. Her name is the least most mentioned in all this. And as a mother my heart hurts not only for her family but for US!

You seem to possess a lot of inside information on this kid. How did you come by all this intimate knowledge of his psyche? For that matter why do you conclude he was the one who did the shooting? Have you seen some video of him doing it or are you just believing the stories of a bunch of professional liars wearing badges?
