Life on Planet Mars Found! Is there life on Mars or not? Recent announcement of life on the planet Mars and then denial are becoming commonplace anymore. Over the past several decades we have seen numerous reports of life being found on Mars and then they are dismissed. Will we ever know?

Its really hard to say weather life has originated on Mars or weather it exists now. Its a huge mystery at the moment. althrough life hasn't been found yet maybe due to not looking in the right places on Mars, perhaps it may be found soon. In our solor system Mars is the most likely planet to have life on its surface. Its also a little similar to Earth with the climate being similar to Earth's.Its really exciting because the chances of life on mars is a possibility. If we ever found life on Mars is would change the way we would look at the universe and would convince us that life is all over the univese. Of course the life we would find would only be microscopic organisms,But it would be a big find.

Some form of proof would be nice

I believe we have been lied to about Mars, and Mars does have liquid water, lakes, and rivers, as well as plant life and forests. And I believe there are active cities there too, and intelligent life. The Mars rovers land in some desert, and we are told it's a barren land, but why doesn't it land in a forrest, or near a lake bed? They want us to believe there is no life there. I believe Earth man originally came from Mars.

That's just some guy called Ray's blog.
And it is sourced from another guy called Mitchey's blog. With no evidence of anything, just wild speculation.
I don't see this being of any use to anybody.
Plus it's 7 months old.

heres a heads up so keep it quiet but im one of those nutcases that believe there is life on mars and always has been. I also happen to think that because non of us have been privy to just pop up and have a look for ourselves is the evidence that says the only reasons life doesnt exist on mars and other planets is because we're not being told

Wow but afterall thats coming from me

I predict massive disclosures regarding, space, ufo's, medicines, treatments and illnesses, hey i'll even go as far as amazing cures and new technologies. Just wait.

Have a look at HiRise but turn them upside down.

You will see most of the pictures in a different light.
what was a crater becomes a mound,

There are trees shrubs and water also on mars but you need to flip the pic.

Out of curiosity would you say within the first half?
I believe there will be a few revelations so to speak

Come on Arken you know better than to just throw out random facts like that, so far there has been methane detected on Mars, (but it's uncertain if it's microbial life that causes it or geological), we have a rock that possibly once contained microbes that came from Mars but that's about it... there is no PROOF! that life exists or once did exist on the red planet... if there is proof than please provide a link, I'd be the first to pat you on the back because it would be news to me!

Hi Majestic.
These are only some of the lastest news about Life on Mars collected by me.

But I'm sure that more ATSers more skilled than me have collected more news.

Ok your first link: organic materials….. That's doesn't mean life!

Your second link: it's been known for many years Mars once had water on it and an atmosphere, the planet died due to the core becoming motionless thus the magnetic field could no longer protect it from the Sun's radiation, and I'll say it again... the methane detected hasn't been confirmed where it's being replenished from, it could be microbial or geological...

The third link: again the detection of molecular oxygen doesn't automatically mean life!

Arken, you normally/sometimes go with the scientific fact threads as I do, please don't be thinking there is life on Mars because of all the above reasons, I personally believe there once was life on Mars…there may well be under the crust in this day and age in microbial form... but I have no PROOF!

In the coming months when things are disclosed it will be interesting to say the least.
Sorry but im with Arken on this

The evidence most of you supply is provided by those that decieve, so how can you base what you know as evidence.
Please behave!!!

All will be revealed i assure you.

Personally, I think it is possible if not probable that microbiological life exists on Mars. We already know this from the Meteor found science.nasa.gov...

So to deny the possibility that microbiological life exists on Mars is to deny the facts right now in my humble opinion. That and the discovery of carbonates and others makes it a strong case anyways.
