I have found that when I don't sleep until the early hours of the morning I tend to have more vivid and sometimes intense lucid dreams. If I go to sleep at a reasonable time I tend not to remeber dreaming at all! I'm wondering if anyone has found the same of themselves and if anyone has any scientific knowledge as to why this might be? Yours truly and always Free4Ever x

It may just be due to your brain being a little fatigued and not going into a deep deep sleep, maybe like a wake induced. I notice too when my sleeping patterns are messed up I tend to dream different or have lucid dreams more often.

The thing is I've found myself intentionally staying awake until silly o'clock because I thouroughly enjoy dreaming and have found that quite a few things I've dreamt have happened and its only when there happening I remember that yeah I had dreamt it months ago! Little things like a conversation with my parents, I remember where I was sitting in the dream and everything but only when its actually happening! Sorta like de ja vu I suppose but not, if you get me! Yours truly and always Free4Ever x
