I have never seen a UFO! anyone else unlucky enough?

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to start a discussion about peoples personal sightings of UFO's.

Personally i have never seen one (very very gutted) , but totally fascinated by the subject.

I'd like to get an idea of your experiences and how you felt during your sighting(s).

aha, I have a video tape where you hear me screaming "ufos ufos!"! and you hear my husband yelling, "that can't be! must be helicopters!"... and me "there is no sound!!! its are ufo's!

turned out to be thai party balloons.... but we still get a good laugh at our ridiculous euforic yelling every time we see the tape again

Yeah I saw a strange object on 1/1/09.. 6 of us saw it and I couldn't tell you what it was, although it wasn't any conventional aircraft I have seen or heard of..

Yep, I've seen one.

Will look in my history to find the thread I wrote at the time and get back to you.

Scared and panicked, it was right above me, i was alone, it was the middle of the night and on a dark road.

I believe I saw one before I still don't know yet. I was walking to my school one day earlier then usual and like there was no one around and it was all quite. Well being bored I looked up at the sky and I saw this weird disk looking shape in the sky just not moving. It looked like the general idea of a ufo that we all have and I was pretty spooked. But idk if it was a real ufo or just a balloon.

Haven't seen one myself, but that doesn't make me overly skeptical.

Honestly there are too many sightings each day for all of them to be marsh gas/weather ballons/ the planet venus/birds/planes/meteorites/visual data created by Delysid..........

Are all those reportees crazy/misinterpreting what they truly saw? Naw... I refuse to believe that for all of the cases.

Saw something as a kid with a couple of friends when camping out in a field, but was too young to really know if it was a UFO or not. I remember being amazed when looking at it though so it might have been, don't think I'd have done that if it had the noise of a plane or helicopter. (can't remember if it made a noise or not, just that the lights seemed strange.) I'm not too fussed though, get the feeling that I'm pretty likely to see something if I keep looking.

Yeah, I saw one. Broad daylight with the whole family. Looked like a barbell floating in the sky. I say floating because there was no apparent movement. Looked to be pretty far away because it had that hazy look that far off things have. Not easy to judge though. Simply dissapeared in the blink of an eye. I remember feeling sort of in a trance in that I remember just sort of daydreaming and watching it for some time before I consciously thought 'hey, that's not supposed to be there'. Then it was gone.

I live in a pretty small city in UK, (Chester for anyone that knows) and nothing really goes on here, no big businesses, power stations, nothing of significance e.t.c. so i wonder if this maybe a factor for lack of sightings?

i think that if you spend a few nights looking up in an area w/o light pollution your luck should change!! they are everywhere. (some people say you can ask (or pray) to see one and they will come?!?!?)

i recently have seen three

the most "exiting" was a pulsing orb truckin across the sky. it was pulsing bright, to invisible every 2 seconds or so

the triangle a saw as a kid was great...only sixty feet away....then shot off horizontally so fast you could not see it, only the direction it went!!

Chased by one....Interstate-16...between Dublin and Macon, Georgia...

My wife and i on the interstate, about 2 in the morning 12 or so years ago...

Maybe not so much chased...Maybe we were just both heading in the same direction...It was behind us for a half hour or so...The interstate was completely empty save my wife and i and our pursuers...very strange...

The pursuer was crossing all lanes of the interstate, and the median...back and forth, returning behind us, crossing lanes and the median again, and returning...

It maintained it's distance the whole time...It's hard to say, but i've always felt like it was a half mile or so behind us, and was huge, like the front light on a Locomotive but much larger...

At one point, against my wife's advice and wishes, i brought the car to a complete standstill on the inside lane of the interstate...We sat still for a minute or two, my wife urging me to get moving the whole time...

It never got closer, or farther away....About 2 exits out from our destination, the pursuer was gone, and traffic had begun to return....

Upon exiting the interstate, there were three or four consecutive HUGE flashes of light, like stadium lighting, just through the thin row of trees on the exit ramp out of the passenger side (My wife's) window...The flashes were very sudden, and startled the hell out of us...

After that, nothing...We continued the drive home for about 30 more minutes through back highways....

Looking back, i wish i would have been more observant of time...If any time was lost, i didn't have the frame of mind to investigate, so i wouldn't know...

We actually had an interview appointment with an investigator from MUFON after reporting my story...

The investigator's name was Cindy, and i canceled our interview due to a nagging feeling that their way of 'investigating' wasn't up to my standards....

i just didn't agree with their way of gathering information or their methods of investigation and figured as much good would come to my case if i just let it sit on a shelf...

This sounds like my experience while on HWY-375 at night leaving Rachel, NV heading back to las vegas back in the 90's. We were in rachel for rachel day( a annual tradition were the whole town celebrates and has a parade).
It happened to us on the long strip of hwy right next to groom dry lake bed. To this day i find myself debating whether it was military or et.
Was the size of a light on the front of a train, same color as well and would disappear and re-appear on all sides of our vehicle. Finally it would shoot out into the sky as we neared the part of the HWY that went through the mountains. At this point it would streak across the sky at un-believable speeds and change all sorts of colors(like it was showing off). Most people in Rachel, NV call them "Escorts" because they seem to escort you down the road and away from groom lake. They were a common occurrence back in the 90's but im told they are very rare these days.

Other then that i look up @ the night sky every time i go outside to have a cigarette. Lately i have been seeing lights travel the entire distance of the visible sky in a matter of seconds. Sometimes changing direction or speed. They are usually very faint, no brighter or larger than any other star would appear.
And im not mentioning this so i can have someone tell me im seeing a satellite..

Anyway the trick is to keep your eyes to the sky - unlike common society today.. Maybe even get yourself a pair of night-vision goggles..

wow.....that is eerily similar to my experience, and in a totally different part of the country...Only were as my 'escort' seemed at ground level or very close, and your experience continued on into the night sky....

This is the FIRST time i've ever heard an account similar to mine...and trust me, i've been looking, for years...

Its one of the things that brought me here...

Never finding anyone who's had a similar experience has often kept me silent..

I've seen lots of strange things, but never a UFO. I'd love to see one, get me on the UFO express train lol, but it just hasn't happened. Sometimes I was confused by certain things, but I nearly always found out what kind of plane or helicopter it was. Especially after figuring out that there was a flight school near my university, that helped dispel a lot of sightings.

Yes I saw this out of the window of my house, as soon as I realized what it was I quickly moved away from the window in absolute horror....I've been fascinated since.

me and a few friends saw one on a remote island last augest... yellow triangle ufo silent, low flying, much like the ones seen in NYC on october 13th .. youtube that..
it was a strange experience for me because we were all messed up on substances and i was the one who looked up and was like "wtf is that??" and only 3/6 friends saw it becuase there was clouds.. but we all saw the same thing...
we were all messed up and i didnt know anything about ufos really, untill i got home and started resurching it like crazy
it was like it opened the pandoras box to a world of new topics for me, and im happy for that

I saw what i think is a stargate in the sky. I don't know if you would consider that a ufo or not. What i saw was light and energy in a very specific and orderly shape and function so I have trouble calling it a ufo.

I will give all the details later. Don't feel like typing it out right now. I need to put it on a page... I keep putting that # off.... I just keep telling the stories of my sightings over and over so sorry that's not too detailed but it happens when you repeated something a lot.

fooled about by somthing invisible, saw a red light in the sky near me zig-zaging closer, spent hours on the rough when a triangle hoverd above my house at 200meters, had to leave for home it was Christmas... went intoo psychosis thought I was an angel being hunted by the freemasons, then I changed my story every few days for four motnhs, went back to the same rough sat for hours, got visited by aliens that made owl sounds, got followed around the small village by them for a week, got shown a flying disc, at home I saw beings made out of blue-white light that looked like outlines of little meditating men inside a six-pointed davidstar 2,5 inches tall and wide... got scared intoo a even bigger psychosis, got teleported, and heald at the same time, got chipped in the neck, got visited in the asylum by aliens at night (the doctors even knew, and were VERY VERY interested in what thay were telling me even tho was labeled crazy) see lights and strange UFOs on a regulart basis.... get scared of hearing an owl and sometimes have panic attacks even tho thay did me no harm...
