Jared Loughner was shot at

Hello,
I recall watching the news concerning the Giffords shooting, and while watching Fox News, I recall one of the reporters specifically mention that someone had shot at Loughner immidiately subsequent to the shootings. Whats interesting about this is that after the reporter said this, no other reports made mention of this occurring, and the official story now is that after Loughner began shooting, he was wrestled to the ground.

Is this not important, am I missing something or is something not adding up here?

It's possible the reporter got it wrong or you heard it wrong, like maybe they said, "So far it doesn't appear that Jared Loughner was shot at." And you heard, "So far it appears that Jared Loughner was shot at."

I remember the reporter specifically saying that someone in the crowd pulled out a gun and shot at Loughner, but obviously missed. I can remember him saying this as clear as day. Therefore, I do not think that I missheard what the reporter said, but thank you for bringing that up.

It adds up for me. The boy shot the people because he was mentally disturbed.

Of course the boy was disturbed, but someone tried to shoot him in turn. If this happened, why is it not being discussed? Is it not that important or something?

I'd say that if he fired those shots and was fired upon quickly, this could be a cover up of some sort. Like how people believe oswald was killed to silence him. But imo he was just a crazy mixed up kid who dove off the deep end. Maybe the immediate gunshots were from her bodygaurds and or the cops.

I've heard two reports
1. from police officer saying someone in the crowd shot back at him (was on local newspaper site - gone now)
2. Security Guard from Safeway or the mall shot and wounded him (from another forum)
Listen to the 911 audio i posted elsewhere one guy says that the gunman had run away to the north?

im thinking that the other "suspect" was mkultra/cia guy trying to kill Jared.

Perhaps you are correct. It is also possible that the person in the crowd was supposed to kill Loughner, like how Jack Ruby supposedly killed Oswald in order to keep him from talking.

I heard something like that initially too- that there was someone in the crowd that shot at him. At first that is what I thought stopped him.

Perhaps, if this attack was organized in some fashion, that is was perpetrated by the Mexican drug cartel. After all, both the federal judge and congressman Giffords had previously been involved in border security law making, so maybe there is more evidence in that area.

In addition, there are some other threads that suggest Loughner was some psy op scapegoat, and if this were the case, then it would make sense that someone would have wanted him dead at the scene of the crime. This would also explain why I cannot find any additional mention of the attempted shooting of Loughner in the meda.

This thread has a few good reasons, someone/poster on here knows the answer but won't tell, something about a nasa blog+victim+shooter. searchin the blogs now but can't find anything....yet!

You know I have lurked here for a long time and posted maybe a few times, but this just intrests me. I believe there is way more to this and cant wait to dive in. Good call with the mexico angle. I could see that. Im hoping this thread stays alive so I can learn more. Strange how the msm isnt saying a word on this now.

I have also considered the possibility that Loughner being shot at is of little to no consequence. After all, if the person shooting at Loughner was supposed to kill him, then Loughner would be dead now, right?

True but if someone is taking shots and its never brought up in the msm I cry foul. I mean to cover it up they could say things like it was a bodygaurd or cop. Not just push it aside. and why just shoot at the guy and run like the other posts say. Maybe this is jack ruby 2.0 but with more fail.

Thats possible, but consider the possibility that the shot came from a cop or guard, and since he missed and the bullet did not hit anyone, it is not important, hence why the MSM has not mentioned it since the initial reporting of the incident.

No, if there was a second shooter he would indeed have been CIA or NSA.

Another Jack ruby designed to kill the only man who could talk the truth.

There was a lot of mention of a second gunmen, but this ended with the apparent taxi driver.

maybe this is where the water was muddied so the government agent was moved out of the spotlight?
