Well since they have the killer in custody, we should all be hearing (soon) the reasoning of this sick bastard's need to kill.

I would have suspected the gunman to have turned his gun on himself before allowing himself to be captured, but they got him.

Sad to see this happen.

But at least we will get to hear the man's reasoning, no matter how messed up it will be.

The suspect ran off and was tackled by a bystander. He was taken into custody. Witnesses described him as in his late teens or early 20s.

With the talk in this thread about people with mental illness not being aloud to have guns, well who says what is a mental illness. For example anyone who visits ATS www.abovetopsecret.com... If you believe 9/11 was an inside job then you have a mental illness. Thats crossing the line.

If you think about it, it is just after an election where he got hit hard. He tried to push his ideas through the old fashioned way, and the people rejected him. So now it’s time for obama to start playing dirty.

Thats not really something new. Many representatives offer up and support cuts in pay, don't vote or vote no on bills that include raises to their own pay. I don't think that is the connection. Cartels or just plain crazy person is more plausible.

Some of obama’s cronies are trying to boost to anti gun sentiment in the US. And especially among elected representatives. If she was a hard line gun supporter then what better target? They take out one of the opposition, while still being able to rub it in the opposition’s face. A win win situation.

I wouldn't call her a hard line gun supporter. She was rated a D+ by the NRA and a D- by GOA.

Wow...a young kid? That's a bit surprising. I was profiling the guy (wrongly sure) as some 40-something dude who lost his house/wife/dog/mind recently and was lashing out in anger and confusion.

But it was a young pup? Damn...

Yeah, the kid will spill the beans soon enough on why he did it.

Here's to hoping he doesn't explain he is a conspiracy theorist all into Alex Jones or worse "ATS".

While some of us are looking for political fodder in this...This may indeed turn out to be a hit by one of the cartels to send a message to AZ and to Washington.

I don't think this was a hit by Obama's people. Honestly I find that assertion ridiculous. But a drug cartel or a politically motivated nutjob...Sure.
