I like flags much better anyways...I hear they are gaining worth as a real world currency in some areas of the world.

ok...haven't quite figured out who ATS members have dubbed the "trolls" I figured out TPTB. so welcome, great site isn't it??????

I remember my first star...

It was back in 08 and there was a strange stillness in the air that faithful night, you could tell that something was afoot...I just didn't know what, not until it was too late anyway...I was younger and more naive back then, as gullible as a new born baby, thicker than two bricks and as sharp as a bowling ball, who was I to know that the tall, dark stranger who spoke to me in a soft melodic tone would end up being the first to give me...my first star...and that's when it all went down hill, the bright eyed boy from oz became obsessed, obsessed with those little blue stars!
I yearned for them day and night, trying desperately to gain more and more and before you know it, I became a shell of a man, the bright, naive eyes became dark, cynical eyes staring off into the distance, wondering...what the hell am I going to do with all these bloody stars?

So welcome to ATS, treasure your stars, but don't let them take over your life as they did mine.......

when we were kids, we'd come racing home to show mom and dad the shiny gold star we got on our classwork. it really made us feel special. important. smart.

who knew that the simple star could still work.

I'm going to get myself a roll of gold stars and hand them out to my employees and clients whenever they deserve them. see how it works in the real world.

and enjoy the applause for making a somewhat dreary day a bit brighter.
