Qi'gong Master John Chang, otherwise known as Dynamo Jack, is a healer who has been documented on 2 times before and refuses anymore publicity. If your not aware of this bit, this film team has been pleading John to allow them to film him, he agreed after one of the members needed treatment. This film focuses on John and his amazing ability and mastery over Chi, and NOT focused on what I want to bring attention to.

After they filmed him, John refused any further association after learning his recordings were made public. However 7 years later he contacted the team again, to display his skill and allow himself to be studied. After drawing blood from himself from showing off, he was haunted by the spirit of his teacher, scolding him for breaking the rules of his discipline. He denied any further documentation to this day.

What really caught my eye, well besides the amazing display of chi, was that John's decision to allow a 2nd documentary, after 7 years of refusal. Apparently, (at 3:00 in the video) John claims he took a 2 year jouney of meditation in the jungle, while on his journey he learned that "History is moving on, that great change is coming and our old wisdom is leaving us." Because of this, John felt it was very important to prove that chi and life energy exists and that we can tap into this.

Keep a balanced head when reviewing this, although honestly I'm a firm believer in chi, chakra, energy, whatever. My rational mind tells me he wouldn't fabricate and hoax this with or without the film teams help for fame, maybe for money, by the film team, which I'm not familiar with but doesn't appear too wealthy. He really seems genuine in getting a message across, which is the highlight of this thread, NOT about chi.

I don't know about 2012, and I'm certain life and society in every generation has a doomsday date, but its overwhelming the hints of some type of "change." This was the most subtle reference to such a thing, what do you think?

EDIT: The context that it states change is coming, and old wisdom is leaving, obviously claims a change, not the end of the world like I feel is a propoganda. Whether this states a change of dimension, energy, spiritual veils, frequencies, polar shifts, etc. I do feel that there is something to the "Great Age" and the coming of the Age of Aquarius.

Scientifically, if your familiar with Great Ages, it sounds reasonable. That its a polar shift pointing to a new north star, a new alignment if you will. However, these great ages are tied to religion and myth, especially its hints mentioned in the tales of messiahs like Jesus, Krishna, etc. That confuses me, what's the motive in explaining the great age through symbolysm and metaphor?

Food for thought.

I too think these energies are real and can be fully understood with the proper mindstate and ability to seperate ones self from the Matrix or everyday chaos of worrying about BILLS-fitting in in society financially-popularity ect. Once one can get passed all the distraction I feel humans can become more powerfull spiritually which in turns strenthens the human physical 3d plane.

I do feel the change is near and its about time Really I think humanity has had enough games played with.

I couldnt hear the content as I am at work but i will check it out later to better absorb.
Peace

Ophiuchus13 - Hey again, thanks for the quick reply, and I agree. I am a firm believer but I realized how big an impact it is that these distractions can cause. Daily life drains me to the point I fall further into distractions to refresh myself rather than meditation. Also its a really good video, check it on your own time.

Angelonholiday - I never knew, thanks and I'm glad he is. I certainly get that vibe. I'm into martial arts, I want to get into that discipline again, however my belief is now that true mastery should always start from within then expan out. In the case of the human body, I should learn inner arts and then martial.

Larryman - Haha, that's interesting. Maybe John's paving the way for the Pope's new religion? (Kidding btw lol.)

Very welcome, thank you for the reply.

Honestly, my mind has accepted an upcoming change for a while now, its only recent that I guess my spirit is anticipating something from the start of this year.

Rudolph Steiner (Theosophy - Waldorf Schools) once referenced an experiment used in elementary schools to "teach" children how the universe began. The students dropped a spat of oil in a bowl of water, and the pricked the blob with a pin. This caused several little blobs to spin off, showing how the stars and planets were created.

Rudolph then asked, "Ok. Who pricked the pin?"

I am in complete alaignment with everything in this thread. I would like also to kindly add that I believe another important way to prepare is meditation to the Solfeggio Tones - or at least meditate. Be still, be quiet, and just sit. How can you hear what God wants to tell you when you're doing all the talking?

Blessings to all of you and your endeavors. Look forward to seeing you on the other side.

Jimmybhoy - I hope you enjoy, it is interesting, you can even theorize that chi has a connection abilities such as, telekenesis and the like.

Capod2t - Thank you, I was interested in checking out tones or music to medidate too, I've read on how sounds are very important to not only shaping and manifesting this universe, its relation to light, but also its relation to our energies and healing. Medidation isn't too difficult despite me questioning my methods of doing so, but dedication is the issue.

Honestly I wish to incorporate this discipline to my mother, who's affected with a myriad of physical problems. (Since I'm putting myself out there now, can I request anyone who wishes to, to project positive energy to my mother Millie?) My worry is, like Ophriuchus mentioned earlier, that distractions are really making it tough for us to find time to exercise.

That experiment bit was interesting, thanks, may you also be blessed.

In authentic martial arts, Inner arts (Nei dan) have always been integral part of the "external martial arts" however it mostly was under emphasized by commercial (quick-buck) schools.

If chi is the same as orgone energy the william riche talked about, then i would say yes. I believe there is orgone and doh energy which is negative, like in what some talk about. I think this exists.

I doubt old wisdom is leaving though as old truths are timeless.

For beginners, to properly meditate.
First, when you are alone and are not expecting or desiring interruption, no television, or music, silence.
Get a candle and sit comfortably away and stare at it. Focus only on the candle, and the room will slowly darken. This helps to eliminate distractions for the beginner.
The idea is to free the mind of thoughts, so work on doing that. Whenever a though comes into your mind, immediately eliminate it. Get back to the candle.
It takes practice.
You can also incorporate some breathing techniques to strengthen and increase your lung capacity. Breathing can be a distraction, and breathing exercises increase your lung capacity so that you breathe effortlessly utilizing all of your lungs. It goes hand in hand with proper diet, eliminating stimulants that alter your mind and body, but that is for later study.
Mostly, remember, it takes practice, but it is worth it. Soon, you will understand more about where your thoughts originate, the source.

Angelonholiday - Ah I thought I've read the term inner arts before, I was thinking that earlier yesterday, how if I went to my local dojos, they probably don't know anything about chi, or maybe as much as your average anime fan. Commercialism -_- at least the chinese masters are happy to know Bruce Lee didn't expose all their secrets to western society.

Truthseeker - I'm a novice myself and I inquire techniques as well, anyone can aid us? I know that there has to be a form for posture, I know you have to be comfortable to, I seem to be conflicted between the two lol.

Andy - I don't think he means wisdom in the conventional sense, but rather that wisdom as a universal law. Maybe the structure of energy is threatened, and John hopes to instill chi knowledge to the masses to prepare and cope with these energy changes.

And Truth...

Beginning meditation is simply sitting and breathing. Just focus on your breaths, long, slow and paced. Get out of your mind and into the consciousness. Success in meditation comes not from being blank minded for an hour...rather, it comes in recognizing when you've drifted and bringing your self back to "center." Shake off the thoughts, not angrily, but just release them gently and allow them to continue to flow by.

It's important to relax yet stay focused and grounded rather than to day dream. Focus also on the "blank screen" on the back of your eyelids. somoe of the messages and visions which come form the collective consciousness are pretty amazing.

Best to all of you...

Stewie & capod2t - Thank you very much, both of you were informative. My breathing I feel is decent, however I noticed I have a problem keeping up with the rythym without focusing on it, I also noticed my thoughts manifest and focus on is my posture right and slight frustration on visualizing. I realize this maybe due to the chemicals were exposed to, dramatically threatening my attention span. I intend to keep practicing and to simply relax and focus on the source of thought...rather than thought itself.

I may not have seen images yet, at least not images that I didn't conjure from a train of thought, but I have been able to discern if I'm "thinking" or "speaking" in my head. The 2 different strains of thought.

On an off topic note, that 2nd form of thought, where you hear your own voice is what maybe used in telepathy.

I'm sorry I cannot be of more assistance with regard to links and embeds (at work/blocked) but I can point anyone interested in learning more and using certain media for meditation.

Googling 528 meditation will provide a ton of video on youtube with the solfeggio harmonics running. Experiment with those and decide if you prefer to watch the psychadelic vids or closing your eyes and going within.

Guided meditation is also preferred by some and there are a number of CDs available for that, and even more on the internet. Abraham Hicks has a new CD out. Its 4 pieces and all are guided meditations. They even correlate their music with their breathing count (3 seconds in / 5 seconds out). A small book comes with it as well.

Try a bunch, find what resonates with you. For me, those solfeggio tones resonate deep.

These original sound frequencies were apparently used in Ancient Gregorian Chants, such as the great hymn to St. John the Baptist, along with others that church authorities say were lost centuries ago. The chants and their special tones were believed to impart tremendous spiritual blessings when sung in harmony during religious masses. These powerful frequencies were rediscovered by Dr. Joseph Puleo as described in the book Healing Codes for the Biological Apocalypse by Dr. Leonard Horowitz. I give honor to both of these gentleman for the part they’ve played in helping return these lost frequencies back to humanity.

Forgotten in time: the Ancient Solfeggio Frequencies

The Six Solfeggio Frequencies include:

UT – 396 Hz – Liberating Guilt and Fear
RE – 417 Hz – Undoing Situations and Facilitating Change
MI – 528 Hz – Transformation and Miracles (DNA Repair)
FA – 639 Hz – Connecting/Relationships
SOL – 741 Hz – Awakening Intuition
LA – 852 Hz – Returning to Spiritual Order

For example, the third note, frequency 528, relates to the note MI on the scale and derives from the phrase "MI-ra gestorum" in Latin meaning "miracle." Stunningly, this is the exact frequency used by genetic biochemists to repair broken DNA – the genetic blueprint upon which life is based!

Luckily things have changed since Bruce Lee's time and Chinese masters loosened up a bit

Certain Chinese masters were given the responsibility of sharing this once secret knowledge with the west starting form the late 70's; nowadays you can find it taught under the name Qi gung (chi kung); in fact, in China today, there are Medical Qi Gung hospitals which have great success in treating cases that have been given up on by the western style medicine.

Grand Master Mantak Chia's Universal Healing Tao System
and Dr Steven Chang Tao Healing Arts to name only a few began teaching in the early 80's some of these inner arts.

This Chinese 'disclosure' is on the rise though, many incredible books have been released officially last year that contain remarkable information. Too bad its still in Chinese language and haven't been translated yet, but it will soon.
