Look what I found today while I was at Barnes and Nobles.
I ordered hot tea and sat down. I was there for about 10 minutes or so when one of the store clerks walked to the magazine display right in front of
me to place a magazine back on the rack. I read the front cover of the magazine and I almost fell out of my chair! I can't believe that I sat there
that whole time and didn't notice it right in front of my face and might not have had the store clerk not perked my curiosity. And the fact that I had
sat down in that chair, in that spot, facing that magazine.
So anyway it's destiny. lol
The name of the magazine is The Atlantic and on the front and center of the Jan./Feb. 2011 issue, in large type it reads: The Rise Of The New Ruling
Class How The Global Elite Is Leaving You Behind Chrystia Freeland
The Rise Of The New Global Elite By Chrystia Freeland
A snippet from the article...
"In the wake of the recession, the guest explained, high-income individuals, large banks, the economy, by contrast - including small businesses and "a
very significant" amount of the labor force" - was stuck still struggling. what we are seeing, he argued, was not a single economy at all, but rather
"fundamentally two separate types of economy," increasingly distinct and different."
And another...
"The Winner Takes All".
Well there ya go. Right out there. I was thinking about this thread. Guess we didn't get our suggestions for alternate names and titles in before this
went to press.

'perked' not 'perk'.
