We gotta do something about Sorcha Faal

Meh...falling for a Sorcha Faal story is sort of a rite of passage around here. Once you do it, it never happens again. It was a good lesson for me!

We had one yesterday, and another today. But today's didn't mention the halls of the Kremlin, I don't think .

Looking forward to tomorrow's fable. Sometimes they're actually quite entertaining...

I believe I read somewhere that there are many writers other than Booth who supply outlandish works of fiction/hoax and then Booth publishes them under the pseudonym Sorcha Faal. I don't think Booth is smart enough to come up with all the drivel attributed to this name on that web sight by himself. It's got to be a 24/7 schedule for him if he does!!

Please please please just stop talking about Sorcha Faal you are only making a martyr of him/her/it.

If you want to point out that Sorcha Faal is a hoax, that's fine but "we gotta do something about Sorcha Faal" Really? Do we really have to do something about it? Because I think we should not do anything about it. Wouldn't that just be feeding the troll?

ya sure alot of people dont like sorcha faal

but some people actualy are interested in at least reading the story, for whatever reason doesnt matter,

the point is freedom of choice, you want to take that away?

so you and some assumed majority dont like a source,

that dont give you the right to deny it to everyone.

Actually I do. I love Sorcha's stories - he\she can take an ordinary event and spin it into a Hollywood blockbuster script. I view the articles the same way I view movies, as in great entertainment.

By all means, throw the threads into the hoax forum, but don't ban them outright. That will lead to everything and anything that can't be proven being banned also.

Let people read the stories. They are fun.

I agree withheld Chad and Springer on this.I don't know how many times I've abandoned a threshold after finger that"source".If we are denying ignorance then the hoax bin is the course.

People can read all the Sorcha Faal they want. Seems the problem is when they post it here as news without doing any investigation as to whether the story is true or not.

Lets start the rumour that Sorcha Faal died in some sort of spectacular accident - post it anywhere you can and perhaps it'll go viral.
