I know most people hated him in the orginal series, but I miss Ham Tyler. He could piss off everyone in a room, human or V, better than anyone. I get it that the new character Kyle Hobbes is suppossed to be the new Ham, but he is much nicer than Ham ever was.

Michael Ironside rocked that role, hehe...

There really isn't much of a "Resistance" now though...not like the old one. Then, (old series), they had a network worldwide of scientists and rebels in hiding.

Currently, there only seem to be an undisclosed number of V spies, and even fewer humans aware of it, with ZERO communication between cells, and a loose leadership of a handful of people. (the main characters).

I do not care at all, in any way, shape or form, how geeky anyone thinks I am, but I woke up smiling today, thinking that no matter how many deals I have to try to close at work, nor how many different kid's activities I have to get to and from, plus all of the snow I am getting here during rush hour today...that everything would be ok in my world cause 'V' is on tonight.

Anyway, I totally agree about the Resistance. But I think the Resistance is going to rapidly expand over the next few weeks, or, at least I hope so. They did add two people last week with Chad Decker finally coming over (maybe?) and also the secret science lab boy.

The whole 'Joshua' thing is pretty interesting, I wonder how that will affect things?

No, my family will be tuned in, we all consider this show a wake up call for humanity about the Reptilians who some say are inbound, and deem to enslave us all upon arrival.

Even though a lizard underneath...I think I could get used to being enslaved by Anna's daughter...

Just get my "Kirk" on...

They should have had her have the reverb voice though....

Kind of a weird continuance problem though...as if you have Diana, but then you're basically just ignoring the previous tv show (where everyone knew about the Vs)..i.e. this is their first arrival.

They basically just rewrote history a bit (Diana was instead living on Earth as a spy, we can assume).

Nice homage to the rat-eating scene in last night's episode...(though very CGI-looking).

Not sure why the V's saw the terrorist attacks as threatening though, other than the global network implications. It kind of plays right into their hands and engenders sympathy, not anger, for the V's. At least we see the foundation of an actual resistance though.

Good episode, and the show keeps moving right along...

I love how the eating of a rat has gotten so much flashier this time around! And when the FBI V lost a tooth, dang, long tooth!!

Jane B looks really good, and did yall see her workplace cleavage, huh?

Was hard to miss the cleavage, hehe... It was always her confidence and bitchiness that made her sexy in the 80's though. Something they had to tone down a bit, as to not steal Anna's thunder.

The whole queen/bliss idea is a neat twist though (from the old series)...and more "reptilian". And, the breeding agenda vs. food is an interesting twist too.

I miss the reverb as well as the laser guns from the origional mini series. I did find it intresting thought when Anna and Dianna were talking. Anna aluded to the fact Dianna was familiar with human emotions and it had been 20 years since she had been to earth, which would be the time the mini seires came out +/-.

Marc Singer (donovan) is also slated to make an appearence this season, but they are not saying in what capacity. They did say it will not be as Donovan for obvious reasons.

Also the origional creator of V is still looking to make a movie based on the Origional series to end it the way he wanted and not the networks.

Either way I still enjoy the show and hopefully the ratings will keep it going for some timee.

I really wish they would find a way to bring the reverb voice back though.

That would be cool. That whole "starchild" thing was pretty lame...

If you mean the "red sky" thing, this was Anna's little tantrum after her army was killed... She then put a twist on it that it was actually done to heal the Earth (that kind of thing), and most bought it... (it's also likely an homage to the original series, when the "red dust" was released to kill the aliens)....

Not so sure I'm cool with our "heroes" torture of the V.... This really makes them no different than Anna. There's a REASON the heroes of a story don't turn to such tactics... In the original series, the resistance members had great difficulty doing even moderate examinations on their captive, let alone "skinning" the V.... Bad form (imho)....

Anna also tipped her hand and OPENLY modified the reporter's story. Until now, it's been more subtle manipulation. Not so sure that was a good thing either, but that turning point happened in the original series too. At least in this one the reporter has morals.

The skinning thing is what I meant by too much violence! Was that necessary?

And I bet Ryan is trying to play double agent.reply to post by Gazrok

Yeah, I don't think he's going to give up his comrades. The ending twist where you think everything is doom and gloom (and then it's reversed in the opening of the next show), seems to be the show's trademark...

Hmmm...I remember in the old show that they were eating humans, and during the weekly tv show there were some nasty stuff the V's did like human buffets.

I also remember in the mini-series when they were going to test the red dust, that Robin Maxwell, a teenager, shoving the vial of the red dust into the glass case with her baby's dady in it and him writhing in such agony that he ripped his own skin off. I personally think the concept behind what Robin did, even though it was not as graphic as last nights torture, was way sicker than the current episode.

Last night was kinda extreme, but if the option was possibly finding out information that could be life or death of my son, well....call me sick, but I'd be walking around in a new pair of V-skinned boots myself.

I'm still loving the show!

Anyone else notice that when they were interrogating Agent malik (sp) that her voice seemed to slip into the reverb range? Or was that just me hearing things?
