DOVER, Del. – A military expert who served three Republican presidents and helped get the Vietnam Veterans Memorial built as part of his dedication to those who fought in that war was found dead in a landfill, and authorities were trying to piece together when he was last seen alive.

The body of John Wheeler II, 66, was uncovered Friday when a garbage truck emptied its contents at the Cherry Island landfill in Wilmington. The truck had collected the trash from about 10 commercial disposal bins in Newark, several miles from Wheeler's home in the historic district of New Castle, but police

It seemed Mr. Wheeler was concerned about the lack of security of the DOD (in particular the Air Force's)Cyber security. His friend makes mention that the lack of security seemed to been weighing on his mind lately. Maybe he was trying to convince his superiors that there was a threat and wouldn't take the hint to be quiet. It looks like he maybe rubbed someone the wrong way. It's also interesting to note that they are searching his house, but not treating it as a crime scene.

this is a very important event to pay

I was gonna post it but u beat me to it.
What u didn't mention in the article was
that this man served as assistant to
the Air Force under the Bush Administration.
It is quite possible this man had special
knowledge of the true events of 9/11.

Now, with that in mind, was he murdered
because of his ponderings on the lack of
security at the DOD or did it go deeper
into his knowledge of 9/11 events.
Maybe he was getting a conscience
and was gonna spill the beans on 9/11
and was silenced.

He was murdered for a reason. And
a criminal who assaults and robs somebody
at gun point is not about to dispose of the
body in this fashion. There is something
deeper here than what is apparent on the
surface. I have all ideas that the investigation
into this murder will be hampered or
either there will be a scapegoat to hide
the true events.

Hey boondock, thanks for your reply, I really respect your posts and really appreciate you commenting here. I didn't think about the 9/11 aspect. My thinking was that he might have pointed out breaches in security to people to show them it was vulnerable. And they were mad at having egg on their face. You have a great point. Also, I wonder how he retired after only 5 years in the army.

that's an easy one.
Military personnel are prime candidates
for recruitment into the CIA. Especially with
his background in Vietnam in the late 60's and 70's,
he would have been a prime candidate for
CIA black ops into Cambodia and Laos.
That maybe why there's a gap in his military
history. His CIA work would be blacked out
which also explains why later he got a staff
appointment to the Sec. of the Air Force.
I suspect Mr. Wheeler was ex-CIA or current
CIA according to what I see thus far.

I chechd out that site you pointed out. Interesting that he was involved with the 6 minutemen missiles that were lost too. I guess some involved with that turned up dead or missing as well.

like I said,
this man had knowledge of special ops
on many levels. So when he is found
murdered there should be MANY red
flags that arise. We are only scratching
the surface.

some more important info on Mr. Wheeler.

Mr. Wheeler was also on the Council for Foreign Relations (CFR).

He was also involved with the Mitre Corporation.
He was supposed to have been conducting
a meeting with Mitre on the day he was last seen.

If you do not know who Mitre Corporation is.

They are heavily involved in those UAV Spy Drones
flying over Afghan, Pakistan and Yemen.

And guess who flies those drones ??? The CIA

I also have a friend that was a "physical" pilot in the active reserves moved to Nevada. He now flies these drones from a room like playing a video game. Doubt he's with Christians In Action, but you never know. Interesting connections. Thanks for the info.
