ATS live bar - redux

Sorry the other post is not allowing replies. I really hope this "feature" goes away or has user options to lower or "x" it out its unbelievably annoying. Taking up 15% of my netbooks real estate. Really ATS ?

Yesterday the bar was not going away for me, but now it minimizes itself after 12 seconds so I don't really notice it.
I did nothing at my end to facilitate this change in behaviour

Problem is it appears on every friggin page for 12 seconds.....I feel like im takin crazy pills.

Just not that but it re appears after any activity on that page too.
For instance if I star a post it re appears, when I flag the thread it re appears, if I post a reply to thread it re appears.
So that 12 seconds every time is very annoying. Especially if you post multiple times in a thread as well as doing all the above that Ive just mentioned.
