I would like to see the process used of decoding the binary code into legible English. But seeing Wilcock towards the end of the video doesn't help its credibility. Still, very intriguing.

Great job on finding that video! If scientists actually uncover evidence of the ancient civilization in those coordinates, it could make history!

after finding some backround information i found an ats article
www.abovetopsecret.com...
that also discusses the rendlesham forest
this thread is more about the binary code than the original ufo incident
i find it strange that a highly advanced civilization was reportedly
located on the island from the co ordinates
is this place being looked into?

Regardless of the name or location, the island's history is consistent: It is the home of a wealthy and highly advanced civilization. Those who visited the island returned with tales of gold-roofed towers and domes, healthy cattle, and opulent citizens.

The lore of Hy-Brasil is equally fascinating. For example, it is shrouded in fog or perhaps beneath the ocean, and appears only briefly, once every seven years.

The island has been visited by many people for centuries. Both Saint Barrind and Saint Brendan found the island on their respective voyages, and returned home with nearly identical descriptions of Hy-Brasil, which they dubbed the "Promised Land."

One of the most famous visits to Hy-Brasil was in 1674 by Captain John Nisbet of Killybegs, Co. Donegal, Ireland. He and his crew were in familiar waters west of Ireland, when a fog came up. As the fog lifted, the ship was dangerously close to rocks. While getting their bearings, the ship anchored in three fathoms of water, and four crew members rowed ashore to visit Hy-Brasil.

found some info on hy brazil
sounds like a second atlantice

The blessed stormless isle, where all men are good and all the women pure and where God retreats for a recreation from the rest of us". (Summer of the Red Wolf by Niorris West, William Heinemann Ltd, UK, 1971)
In one account from the 17th century recounted by Dames, Captain John Nisbet of Lisneskay, Co. Fermanagh, claimed to have landed on the island and found cattle, sheep, horses, black rabbits, and a strong castle. Nisbet knocked on the door in vain - but there was no answer. When night came he made his way to the beach with his eight companions and lit a fire. Then a "hideous noise" ensured and they fled to the boat. When they returned the next day, the found an old Scottish gentlemen and servants on the shore, dressed in outdated clothes and talking "old fashioned speech". The old man claimed to have been imprisoned there by a necromancer and confirmed that the island was indeed "O Brazile".

wow.. thanks for posting this ~! hmmm.. I don't ever remember hearing about the binary code, it's not something that is really brought out in ANY of the tv documentries that I've seen on the subject yet. Intresting,

Intresting that it is on the History Channel, is this a new episode or something ??

That was from the "Ancient Aliens" episode titled "Alien Contacts" that aired on Thursday. It was about people who had received divine messages through the ages. A lot of it focused on the Rendlesham incident and Joan of Arc.

I have just had a Google of Hy-Brasil and there isnt much on it, I like the idea that its an advanced civilisation which lives on a circular island out at sea west of Ireland I liked the poems written about it: www.poemhunter.com...

However, the actual location of the island or if it exists has never been confirmed, nor was the fact it was advanced nation just a rich one, not sure where the history channel got its information from wrt Hy Brasil and curing people with soundwaves.

I would ask the guy to write the code again and see if he can get it right and again, like to see who the guy was who decoded it and how he did it.

In all the details I've ever heard of the rendelsham forest incident, I have never once heard of the binary numbers. It's fascinating I admit, but I have a hard time wondering why potential ET's / Inter Terrestrials would use binary to code a message in English! My belief in the witnesses of the incident compels me to believe what I'm seeing is true, but I'm guessing it's to good to be....

I agree I have neer heard the binary thing before today.

ANyhow, the guy doing the decoding is called Nick Ciske and he has a website with a binary converter:

Nick Ciske

he says this is how it works:

How binary works:
The binary number system (aka base 2) represents values using two symbols, typically 0 and 1.
Computers call these bits. A bit is either off (0) or on (1). When arranged in sets of 8 bits (1 byte) 256 values can be represented (0-255).
Using an ASCII chart, these values can be mapped to characters and text can be stored.
It's not magic, it's just math!

so I paused the video on around 2 mins where there is a picture of the book and read the page as much as I could and put the numbers in his converter:

010001010101100001010000010011000100111101010010010000010101010010010010100111101011100000111101000111010010000101001010011010100000010011100100100101 01010001011000000110010011011

and it returned:

EXPLORAT’ž¸=!Jjä•E“

and this was probably 2/3s of one page and James Penniston said he wrote 6 pages.

I wonder if he learned Binary or computer programming as a skill when retiring from the airforce, like outplacement training or whatever the militar calls it, my mate did a painting and decorating course so when he left the service he had a civvy skill, I recoon Binary and computer skills would have been right up their street.

This could be why it took him so long to release it.

Thing is though, why the hell would he pick that location if he was faking, there isnt actually anything there as far as we know so as far as he knows becuase Hy Brasil is a myth or folklore.

I started a thread on ATS about this a day or two ago.

It is at the link below:
www.abovetopsecret.com...

It is currently several pages long and includes answers from Nick Ciske (the expert that decoded the message on the relevant documentary) as well as input from quite a few other people.

All the best,

Isaac

It's a strange one I admit. Although I kinda like the fact that maybe something new has come out of this incident. I've grown tired of hearing about it over the years, so new information is more than welcome, even if it does prove to be slightly shaky. I wonder if anyone else can verify any of this as I'm not the most technical or knowledgeable on the subject.

I tried running some of the numbers binary translater: home2.paulschou.net...
That kind of scared me, either these numbers where made in a hurry just for that documentary or its some kind of message from ET

Exploration OG Human I ?

Could it be that he mistyped some of those numbers ?? its really close to say

Exploration of Human

Perhaps they told him that they are here to study us..

binary conversion is fairly simple for anyone who has done computer programming etc

but you would need an ascii chart unless your a freak of programming

I have to agree with some of the posts here, I never heard of the binary code or the coordinates of hy brazil in this incident. That's very intriguing and something that should be looked into further. This is one of the few incidents I put high on my list of credibility.
