Anyone know what this is besides what is blindingly obvious?

I found this in my walkway by my house at a depth of about six inches with my metal detector.
It's made of bronze (I think, or brass maybe) and the artwork on it appears to be done by hand by a less than expertly skilled artist.

what an interesting find. almost look like a mushroom from the bottom ahaah

a brass Bell ,Mid 1800's,made to look much older.

A cow bell?
Like they used to tie around a cow's neck to locate the cow when it strayed?

Not much use with no clapper inside of it

Looks like a bronze bell sorry to be obvious the markings on the side could be natural damage or just wear and tear over time. Maybe it was plated with another metal that had more intricate patterns. Very cool though

...i think it was part of a wind chime - thats why theres no dinger inside the bell - and i dont think its more than 40 or 50 yrs old... pretty though... dig around and you might find more...

A bell with a worn 4 legged animal on it

Too big for a cow bell. Looks like a goat bell. Even has a stylized goat etched on the side. Just my take.
