Just a sidenote:Aside from intense heat and pressure from a hydrogen bomb, there is also a field of EMP that is larger than the thermal field but smaller than the total circumference of the shockwave and the total circumference of fallout.
It would probably be easier to make something that can create a vector of EMP signals than a significant EMP field such as one created by a H-bomb.

well if EMP weapons are created then every one is messed up look at the world how many things that are vital to our life and how may things are in your house that can be damaged by EMP so every one will be messed up not just the military.

Crysstaafur is right about H bomb and anything Nuclear when detonated will send out a EMP that shorts out every electrical circuit in a given area. The best technique is to detonate in the air or upper atmosphere that way you get there satalites and there ground based units at same time.

Im sure i read some where, where a nuc was detonated in the air and it shorted out a good part of a city or something......I have to check on this one!
