Man i agree, it's a sad state of affairs but people will always be taken in by conmen and the saddest part is that every time you try and explain this they will bury themselves deeper in the con. It's a well known tactic of conmen as well, basic psychology suggests that if we are given a free choice and we make a decision, then are given alternatives and told we are wrong that we will stick to that position strongly. Indeed the more we are told we are wrong, stupid or being tricked we will stick to our choice even more.

There is nothing to do here, other than feel sorry for someone about to lose a chunk of money on a box with flashing lights.

On the up side for anyone who has no morals you now know how to make money.

"but its common knowledge Astral Projection lowers spiritual advancement"

Really?
What circles do you fly in where this little factoid is common knowledge?

I read a sentence like that and I stop reading and move to the next post!

So you read part of a post, then see something you don't like then stop reading because its silly....then immediately quote that person. Not giving any evidence otherwise just sarcastically remarking on the aforementioned quotation. Worth while...if your trying to give no credence to what I wrote and at the same time are trying to pretend you are above that opinion, and are moving onto the next post YOU HAVE FAILED.

Welcome to and adult conversation.

See, this is where I run into some problems. Mr. Gibbs has sold over 1,000 units, indeed - but I think there's one important fact you're choosing to neglect. If this unit actually allowed you to PHYSICALLY time travel in a way that was independently verifiable we would not be discussing this on a thread on ATS. Either some of those 1,000 users would come out with testimonials, Mr. Gibbs would submit a test unit to scientific journals for examination by his scientific peers, there'd be serious media exposure and discussion. We get none of that because this is an obscurity - and it is an obscurity because there is no merit to any of Mr. Gibbs claims. All we get is a few grainy low-bandwidth videos of watch hands moving and a website that looks like it was developed in 1999 on Geocities.

And if we're talking about "astral" time travel, that's completely unverifiable independently and probably can be chalked up to mostly placebo effect. Of course, it does provide a nice cop-out when the device does NOTHING.

"You're not in tune with your astral body enough."

for travelling in time you need to travel in SPACE also !!! so, wanting to go back in 1789 for French Revolution ?? ticket to the past ?? ok you need to go back in time of course but also go back in space, which means you have to go back to where earth was in space in 1789 .... earth is turning around the sun, the sun is turning around in Galaxy, space is expanding, how could you go back to where earth was ( and the sun was ... and all the stars were ) ?? impossible of course !
tell me please ! you will have to place, puzzle, all the infinite numbers of atoms of the whole Universe back into their place they were in in 1789 !! otherwise you never will have the same surroundings back as they were in 1789 !!
Same for travelling into the future, let's say 21/12/2012 : you need to go to a place where earth shall be at that date in space, with all photons and neutrinos and electrons and protons in place, with the moving sun and moon in place, just like it has to be on 21/12/2012 - but at what time you will arrive ? sun up or sun down ? it's like a theatre, you will have to put everything in place for when you arrive on stage

The only thing that could be done, I think, is travel into parallel Universes where other beings maybe live ( spirits for us ... ) but travel in time, no man, no way !!
I am not the only one thinking that way of course !
peace to all wanting to travel NOW, it is NOW that things happen !!

Maybe also a way to travel " in time " like they call it, is to try to travel INTO MEMORIES you have in your brain, take some grass, or some '___' ( I never took !! ) and I am sure you will remember lots of things from the past !!!
Like in a NDE, where you can remember your whole life in one big hurry flash !!!

Heh, oh sure, I think you should purchase every single item online that claims extraordinary abilities...time travel devices conveniently purchased on the net, Bigfoot spotters, alien communication radios, invisible cloaks, etc...just keep spending every single paycheck you ever make on anything that claims anything unverified.

Matter of fact, give me a couple weeks and I will send you to my website with loads of new and unusual devices that claim extraordinary results..they are pricy, but hey..if you don't believe in what it does, your close minded, right?

First up...my alchemy set (it runs on spiritual purity..so don't worry if it doesn't turn stuff into gold immediately, just keep praying and eventually it will work)
And only 12,000$. hell, you will make that back the first day once your spiritual resonance is in tune with the cosmic love frequency

I'm genuinely interested why you believe such a thing to be true

Yep, Spam in a can. Personally I think the guy making these should be arrested for fraud, it would be an easy case to prove and win. It may even be worth the $360 just to sue him for brain damage and fraud. Now that I think about it, maybe this jewel could be my future to increased earnings...hmmm.
To what address do I send the check?

I need to reply to some of the posters who ridicule the OP. I think what he is trying is very noble, and even if doesn't lead to time travel, it's the effort that counts.

Some of the greatest things that I have discovered have been through curiosity. Curiosity and imagination are what drive human invention and achievement.

I think the concept of using magnetism to create a time portal is close to the truth. Remeber The Philadelphia Experiment? Supposedly the government was able to get a whole ship to travel through space in time by centering it in the middle of a triangle of ships that housed large magnets.

Keep researching time travel. I have a feeling the humans of the future have already discovered it.

Good luck, bro.

Just because the inmates wanna run around playing with scissors in their hands do you think we should let them ?

you think we are trying to ridicule .. we are trying to help him if he is genuine , and bust him if he is gibbs or associated with him. this has been tested numerous times before..

To the OP:

I just want to some couple of questions, if I may. If you don't respond, it's cool. I'd like you to think about them if you will but you do not have to.

1) The seller of this device seems quite sincere yes? Is he sincere enough to provide a 100% money back guarantee? If not, why not?

2) He claims to have sold 1000 devices. At over $300 a pop, he has made approximately over $300,000 from these devices alone. A third of a million dollars. When you purchase this (for over $300 which could go towards rent, food, personal things) and IF it doesn't work (hey it might) will you request a refund? If not, why not? It's false advertising and the product he provided did not work as advertised. (I wonder what the IRS has to say about his 'product' by the way, tax purpose wise).

3) If one WERE to travel back through time, aren't you worried the earth will not be where it was when you started the journey - ie it travels AROUND the sun. If you are not worried, why aren't you worried?

I wish you all the best OP on this venture, I too have been stung by buying something in the realm of $300 before and speaking from experience well... it just is NOT worth it!

Cheers!

To the people who think that the OP is a kid with some Christmas money and has no clue what he is doing , I offer this from his profile:

More Stuff You Should Know I recently graduated college with a psychology major, math minor and computer science minor. My thesis paper was on a quantum theory of mind, for which I communicated with Dr. Fred Alan Wolff, Dr. Rick Strassman and Dr. Douglas Hofstadter. I have a rock band, and ran a recording studio at my college.

At the end of the day the worse case scenario is he will have a slight headache and a interesting conversation piece I guess . I will be waiting for the results . Good luck OP.

All I can regarding this is that I greatly respect your adventurous side. I anticipate a great review and a detailed report. Any assistance I can be to your experiment, don't hesitate to alert me. I can be found behind the lady at the Chaplain film debut in 1928, I'll be the one holding the "Time Traveler" poster. . .while she just yaks and yaks away on that darned cell phone!

People drop this much at a race track or a casino in minutes. They buy lottery tickets. They play fantasy sports (I dropped $125 on it this year). Its a gamble, as the OP notes. Maybe he wins, probably he loses but I give him all the credit in the world. If it works, great. If not, you have a story to tell anyway and some personal entertainment trying it.

S&F

There is a COMPLETE, let me reiterate for you blinds out there COMPLETE difference between spending 360$ on what horse will win a race than spending 360$ knowingly on a device that ,wih common sense, will not work. I am tired of reading these posts "oh man forget these people who don't believe in time travel." TRUST ME if this device achieved anything close to time travel, you definetly wouldn't hook it up to your head. There is no way, with common logic applied, that one can go and think there is even AN INCH of truth to this. I am tired of posts like " Oh I heard his work before, go ahead and tell me after you - " BULL SH** . I don't know HOW the OP was raised, but clearly he didn't have the average mother. The average mother would have scolded you if you by candy instead of books, or music instead of clothes. You would trade 360$, that you can use NOW to buy gold and silver, on a device from a pretty underground guy, who creates time machines, eludes the government, and Isn't reknowned in the scientific community.

Haha Oh I'm the fellow who initiated the insults. Now your interested and not dismissive of my post, what has changed?. It was only a little while ago you stopped reading my post because it was silly. Now you want more information...how do you know there wasn't any after you stopped reading. Which begs the question why waste my time for you to reject my information without at least first reading it in full.

I will move on. I have been visiting A.P forums for years and practician as long. To force an OBE does one thing in a huge way, shows you exist outside your body. Meaning you have a soul, this in its self is never suppose to be taken for granted or indeed we already would know this. Now this can only lead you to believe you are progressing threw, lets say stages or something of the sort. Do you see?. I have successfully done A.P an you would never believe what can happen there. You are in no position to argue or even debate with me. If you haven't put any effort in that is.

I have read many books by Authors such Mark Stavish, Susan Polacheck and a few others. And what you get at the end is...well a feeling of cheating. People have also reported visiting the library of knowledge, where every bit of knowledge is accessible theses are famous well documented men. If you cant see the wrong in this...well. I wont pretend I have clear cut facts for you, this is the unknown there is no real evidence. I wont fell bad, since you haven't posted any on the contrary either.

Do some research around forums and ask the more long term A.P what they think, you'll see. I realise you won't do that and this was also a was of time. But if I didn't explain your would predictably comment, so your avoiding my question.

From what I understand, the Schumann frequency is variable and not a constant. You would need a tuner.

First off, Sunlionspirit raises some very good pointers that to be honest havent realy crossed my mind. I do believe that time travel will be possible at some point, however have alot of learning and growing up to do before we should try it.
Just a few pointers for the OP to check before he makes his purchase though:
1) Is the product pantented? (sp?) Inventions and products tend to get patented, so that the idea has been recorgnised and can not be stolen, etc etc. If it has not got a patente number then chances are its either A: a scam or B:Not a very inteligent business man, which if he created the time machine, you would of thought he would of reserved his invention by now to stop those other people he sold it to from making and sellin thousands more and becoming rich.
2) Threaten to patent it yourself if he has not! Listen/look at his responce, is he truley annoyed? Does he have the responce of someone who has just been screwed over??

Also, the money back thing involving false advertising. False advertising only applies to registerd products, and chances are, if this thing has no patented number (which i doubt) it will not be able to be registerd.

Dude...

I think I just realized how you can gather evidence of time travel using an HDR.

A roll of 35mm film conveniently fits perfectly into the "Witness Well" (how lucky is that?).

I would be willing to bet my left eye socket if you put an unexposed roll of 35mm film in there before you travel in time, you may come back with some photographic proof of your time travels.

Of course, if you come back and find your film is blank, it will be because you do not have enough faith. Not because this HDR unit is plain stupid.

But still...

it could work...

Right?

I mean, anything's possible, right?

I read his website and couldn't stop laughing.

Simply put, if you could travel through time you wouldn't need to sell a time travel device to make money.

It's a scam, along the lines of the E-meter scientologists use to trick people into believing they are infested with Thetans.

Please don't waste your money.
