Ok the messages are in there but, after watching all the disney movies my self some multiple times i have never had the urge to be gay.

MY research, has taught me, those sexual images you see in the cartoons..is the artists signature* its his/her own way of self markmenship and creativity, without anyone else knowing it. why its sexual* is beyond me..yuode think hidding a signature somewhere would be good enough. its a guy thing, so ive learned thats all. but is it right>? i dont think so, being a kids movie/cartoon.
around 1994, the smurfs were still on. channel 5 i think? FOX. after the credits rolled,( i wa 19 at the time) Gargamel would show, clenching his fists, laughing out loud evil, like he was god, had his way or something, paramount? studio lightning bolt would show and that was that.
i thought that wa sevil as all hell! beucae it made me think, it was disney, or the artist, or FOX? whatever, impression of gargamel finnaly killing and eating the smurfs. thas the impression it gave me

I was roughly 10 when the Little Mermaid and Lion King were popular. I remember seeing in the news that there were hidden messages in the movies. I watched them over and over again, and I couldn't find anything. Why? Because I ha no idea what sex was, or what a penis looked like!
I think the animators put those in the movies to make them more bearable for the adults, honestly. If you have kids, you'll understand what I'm talking about. Disney shows now are ridiculously mind-numbing. Every show has a lead character that is incompetent, making kids think it's ok to be stupid or incapable of performing daily tasks without screwing it up. "it'll be fine, everyone will laugh at me!". I would rather my step kids watch history or discovery channel over Disney any day.

Wow.... just... WOW. What Pagan rituals have you seen? All of the ones that I've been to (being Pagan and all...) have been a great deal more sedate and peaceful than that! Worshiping nature, the natural balance, things such as that. Considerably less on the whole "blood sacrifice" thing, what with us generally revering all life. Even Hippies (though admittedly, that one is kinda tough).

On another note, I can't help but giggle at the fact that when a lot of people 'round these parts see a pyramid on ANYTHING they point and scream "Illuminati!". I remember the Ducktales movie rather fondly from the innocent, wayward days of my youth. A large chunk of the film took place in EGYPT. Yeah, Egypt. That place where they have pyramids.

Now lets move on the the various "satanic" symbols supposedly strewn about these films. The one that made me laugh the most would have to be the "satanic snake". So, just to clear things up... is EVERY cobra satanic, or just the purple ones that turn into elephants? As far as the Chronicles of Narnia go, I must say its a bit of a stretch of the imagination to see "satanic influence" in a series that is, in essence one GIANT CHRISTIAN ALLEGORY! C.S Lewis (that charming chap who wrote the series) was a born again Christian, not the ideal person to be a proselytizer for the Dark Lord.

I do when its a group of Norse or Celtic reconstructionists doing their thing! Those folks pride themselves on their historical accuracy, and alas... once again... no human sacrifices I'm afraid. Though for the record, a mere two hundred or so years ago, there was one cult that was still killing folks. Hangings and burnings at various stakes if memory serves...

Oh, as a minor post script... I can't help but shudder a little when referred to as a "neo-pagan". Brings to mind various nightmarish images of crystal waving hippies. *laughs* Not that I personally have anything against crystal waving mind you.... just hippies.

LOL neo simply means new, as in new Pagans, not real pre-Christian Pagans. Neo-nazis don't put people in gas chambers during their 'reconstructions' either.

You do know that Paganism, in Christian terms, was simply a blanket term for any polytheistic religions, and outside of Christianity any none Abrahamic religion? Simply pre-christian gentiles.

The term Pagan came from the Latin for 'country dweller'. It didn't become recognized as a 'religion', or ethnic identity, itself until the 17th century.

No one is saying that the leaders of those countries are not corrupt. (check out Peter Eigen: How to expose the corrupt, if your interested in corruption itself)

What you might want to look into is the role the US had to play at the Brettonwoods Conference when it created the IMF and the World Bank. These two organizations alone pretty much decide the faith of the Third World. In fact, they function pretty much exactly as colonialism did centuries ago. There is just no way that these countries will ever recover from our (the First World) raping and pillaging of their lands and resources under their present condition.

Believe me, nobody is mistaking the United States for a saint.

As far as the whole "which (or witch) religion killed more people" debate goes, I think it would likely be fair if we simply shook metaphorical hands and agreed that EVERY religion has blood on its hands, though that doesn't stop them from still being a source of hope to the various masses

It may be distasteful to place subliminal sexual images in children's films, but I wouldn't call it "evil". Most likely they just did it as a joke. It doesn't mean they're pedophiles trying to "groom" children. Most kids would probably overlook them. That preacher went a little overboard with the sensationalism.

Anyway, I'd like to know what your thoughts are on Walt Disney? I've heard negative rumors about him, but he seemed like a genuinley great guy who cared for children. It's just hard to believe that he would be associated with anything evil. Sure, Disney is corrupt NOW like the rest of the entertainment industry, but I think Walt would strongly disapprove.

I agree, I wasn't comparing Paganism with anything, just commenting on someones naive view is all.

I'm not a christian, nor do I support any organized religion.
