Accused WikiLeaker suffering from inhumane treatment in brig, friend says

Looks like they are trying to wear him down into confessing to everything. Looks like Lamo will end up getting what he wants if that happens, but it'll be a coerced confession at best.

A U.S. soldier accused of leaking classified material to WikiLeaks is suffering psychologically and physically due to inhumane treatment at a Marine Corps brig, one of the few people who visits him regularly charged Thursday.

David House, an MIT software researcher, told "The Dylan Ratigan Show" guest host Jonathan Capehart on msnbc cable television that Pfc. Bradley Manning has big bags under his eyes, is weak from lack of exercise and has difficulty keeping up with some conversational topics.

House rebutted claims by the Pentagon that Manning under "maximum custody" is in a standard single-person cell and gets exercise, recreation, and access to newspapers and visitors. The Pentagon issued the statement Dec. 17 in response to reports by salon.com's Glenn Greenwood and others that Manning is virtually in solitary confinement while awaiting possible court martial.

Bradley Manning did release the State Department cable/memos as he is not charged with that. The public has been duped into thinking that he did due to murky statements from Hillary Clinton and other puppets regarding those releases. Manning is only charged with releasing the Apache helo shooting of innocent reporters who worked for Reuters.

Manning was charged in July with leaking classified material, including video posted by WikiLeaks of a 2007 U.S. Apache helicopter attack in Baghdad that killed a Reuters news photographer and his driver.

Manning bragged about his exploits with former hacker Adrian Lamo, who then turned him in, according to Lamo. The Army detained Manning in Kuwait for two months before transferring back to the United States.

Ok so wha'ts new? What you consider inhumane isn't inhumane at all, at least he's sleeping on a bed and people seem to be making such a big deal out of the fact that he doesn't have a pillow, boo-hoo. Just be glad that he's being held by Americans, had he commited treason in other certain countries he would've been killed or tortured by now without as much as the people that did it knowing. Manning should have known better then to give out classified information to un-authorized people, the government will sooner or later catch up with you.

Manning can exercise if he wants to. There is no evidence that he is being physically mistreated. as far as "psychologically mistreated,' the guy is a wus. If you look at him cross-eyed he'll claim he was mis-treated. He's obviously messed up psychologically anyway, which happened well before he got thrown in a jail cell. He got busted a rank for fighting a few months ago, which wasn't the first time he got in trouble. Did a 120 pound gay guy actually think he could beat up your average soldier? And he was just SO MAD after his cross-dressing boyfriend broke up with him that this tipped him over the edge to commit treason.

The really amazing thing is that he was allowed into the Army in the first place. All this had to have been obvious before he enlisted. I'd like to talk to his recruiter and ask, "What were you thinking?" But, recruiting goals being what they are, I suppose they'll take anyone who can pass the ASVAB. Then they turn around and give him a SECRET clearance. The investigation had to have been botched. In fact, I've seen them do this. They contract it out. So this woman came to my house to interview me about someone. She asked me a few questions to which I lied through my teeth, then left hurridly because she was frightened of my dog, above left, a cocker spaniel, really a mean dog.

This entire issue is so fraught with ridiculousness that I have to wonder if it isn't all a set-up. Meanwhile, while Manning stays in an air conditioned room and gets three meals a day, his fellow soldiers are out in the hot sun getting shot at.

There is an ongoing debate as to exactly whom got to the classified info first, Manning or Lamo and who contacted who. So if your just falling for the MSM typical OS line then you don;t have much to offer here other than the common reply you already posted.

Whatever you want to believe but it's pretty much certain that Manning did it. Either way, he's not being treated inhumanly as people like to believe.

It don't matter what I personally believe. What does matter that someone made that assertion and now it is being investigated. It deserves to be investigated despite what he did or, didn't do.

Did I ever say he was charged? Thats what they're trying to determine now, but its almost certain that he gave the information to wikileaks as the evidence points.

Well when that *friend* can prove that manning is suffering from inhumane treatment then we can talk.

Until then nothing more than whining, ranting, lies.

I'm sure manning is being taken care of just fine.

I'm sure they are being very careful on how they treat him, if he had bruises and marks on him, or was being beaten or not fed, then that would be provable, and the liable parties would be sued, which they that are holding him are going to make damn sure they can not be charged you can guarantee that.

a retraction. You stated the same thing above, apparently believing what the MSM lies say. The facts of this debacle need to be learned before anymore people begin spreading lies & half truths. To date, he isn't charged with crime at all.

Of course it is....thus why it is called PSYOPS...its a war on all levels of your mind and you dont have to fire a single shot. At least with getting shot at with rockets, mortars and bullets you know where your assailant is coming from...with PSYOPS it is very murky and you dont know the intent.


Good news...arrogance is their achilles heel and as you saw with 911..the operation had more holes in it than a sponge. Even knowing it had holes they assumed...most are too dumb to figure it all out and the ones that do will be labeled idiot... sloppy and reckless is all i can say to describe it.
