Hi everyone, my father bought a house in front of the beach 2 months ago. My sister went to visit my father, and she was taking pictures of the beach and well is better if you see the pictures. It was only visible thru the camara. A month ago I was drinking beers with my father in the same place ( Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico) around 2 am when suddenly my father noticed a light and when I look at it ( I use glasses so I had a better view ), that light was traveling east to west, at 50 to 100 ft away from us moving very very fast and was UNDER THE WATER. I was not that drunk
but unfortunately It was impossible to take a picture because it was to fast. So Yeah, I think something weird is around there. You tell me. I have seen or lived some "paranormal" things that I really can't understand. I wish i could know the meaning but thats another story. The thing is my sister knews that about me so I was the "person" to tell.
and because I've spend years around ATS, I know this is the site to ask. I really don't know it could be. Sorry for my bad grammar but I speak spanish so english is not my first language.

Are you talking about the blue light?

Looks like a reflection through glass to me.

You can clearly see reflections here:

Well, my first thought was lense flare, but upon closer inspection it actually looks as if there is a 'ghosting' of another image (pardon the pun). Is there another picture in the series perhaps of the sunset? With a digital camera, if you take a picture of the sun it can actually burn out your pixels. That blue/white orb looks like a full-on shot of the sun and the smaller blue cirlcle down left of it a lense flare of the sun. Just a thought.

It's either lens flare, light reflection through glass, or classic photoshop...

One would assume all these would have been taken at the same resolution, but nope, so it leads me to think some tampering was involved.

Oh and what is that blurred object right in front of the lens? It's too constant and still to be a finger.

Looks like the sun is in each picture too.

Just sayin...

I have hundreds of pictures I have taken that seriously are just plain weird and that no one can explain. I have my opinions on these blue, red and white orbs but people will think I am crazy...

Here is a random picture I took point up towards an airplane (at least I thought is was an airplane) and a couple other strange things I didn't see with the naked eye. I zoomed on the image but did not modify anything else. I have tons of these orbs show up in my photo's and have noticed that they have faces and love to hang out with my kids...

Lol, I would like to hear your opinion in what it could be. I thought too it was some kind of reflection but in 1 or 2 pictures the orb is clearly behind the bushes so that is what is making me doubt. And in one of the pictures the orb is leaving a reflection of itself or a shadow in the floor. SOMEONE ANY MORE IDEAS??

The white blur at the bottom of the pics is no doubt another chair in fron of the camera, the weird blue light looks like they have had the flash on and it is reflecting back into the camera.

Actually is a blue shadow look

[/img]

She was taking the pictures with her Iphone. I don't think is a reflection of a glass because in some pictures the blue orb is in the ocean and behind the bushes.

Well actually she told me she could see the blue orb in the camera without taking the picture, so she was taking pictures od the blue orb and the red thing

What kind of camera?

When you take pictures aiming toward the sun, the sunlight reflects off the internal elements of the lens. They usually are coated with a bluish-looking anti-reflective coating which stops many less strong reflections, but no coating will stop the sun from reflecting, it's simply too bright.

So it's probably a reflection of the sun, also known as "lens flare".

See this diagram:

The red line shows the path of an internal lens reflection from a bright object (like the sun)

The bluish orbs in the lower right of this photo are also reflections of the sun-aka-lens flares:

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/d19aab4accf3.jpg[/atsimg]They look a little different but the type of camera, lens, lighting, zoom, etc all will affect the appearance.

How can a lense flare be behind some bushes or in the sea? Just asking because i though the same thing until i saw some pics that if you look at them closely there's no way it is a lense flare. it was the camera of an iphone.

No it wasn't the plankton. I'm sure of it because here in Puerto Rico we have the brightest bioluminesent plankton bay in Vieques which I've been like 6 times so I know what that is. That light was yellow and was making the water move along the light. Very weird but without any evidence to prove it

PS: I went again this weekend to the house and tried to copy the "orb" taking pictures directly to the sun and a couple of different angles. In 2 of the photos I could replicate what you call a lens flare and it's no way that that was the case on the orb that my sis took pictures of. That is definitely something strange.

...maybe it was a mini-sub... they're not uncommon nowadays... dont know why anyone would use one at night but i dont understand a lot of things folks do, like swimming with sharks...

that is clearly the sun reflecting off of something or it has been debunked. poor effort!!

Did you see the pic where the blue light was nearly inside the water? I don't see the same reflection. And no it has not been debunked.
