Bank of America buys up abusive domain names

www.finextra.com

Bank of America has snapped up hundreds of abusive domain names for its senior executives and board members in what is being perceived as a defensive strategy against the future publication of damaging insider info from whistleblowing Website WikiLeaks.

Would you consider this an admission of guilt? Or would you consider it, standard procedure?

The blogosphere is abuzz with many calling Wikileaks' forewarning, 'a hostage taking'. Wikileaks has not made any demands, like asking for resignations, before the release of what is expected to be, damaging information.

I just cant wait to read all of the cables that come out about BofA. They sucked long before this whole scam happened, and I really look forward to watching them drown. Whether or not you support Wikileaks, this series of cables should be the most entertaining, and/or the most detrimental.

Release them already!

How typically "board member" ish of them...
Like if they buy up domain names, that will change their nefarious acts and not allow them to get out amongst the people...

The Internet is full of creative spellers. Have fun with that.

I would love being a fly on the wall at these meetings!
Either it is hilarious to try to find name calling and insults to yourself and your colleagues (better yet your boss!) or did fisticuffs breakout when things got too personal?
As they say, if you spit up in the air too many times eventually you get some on your face!
