Thread/Story on ATS I can't find, believe it was in the Ancient Civilisation section

The thread as I remember it was about a 'caver'(people who explore caves etc), dissapearing. Being presumed dead. And then turning up a year or 2 later half way around the world.

I'm not sure if the story was bunk or not, I'm more interested in the thread in question.

Any help would be appreciated. Although ATS is a big place so not holding my hopes up
