I hate to see Arkansas pick up in activity. I think there is an alignment today/tonight and a New Moon so..... yeah....hopefully the New Madrid will remain calm for years to come.

I was already on the site when it happened,
I was actually comparing Arkansas quakes from the past and then when I saw the red it spooked me and I was afraid it was close to home...but thankfully it wasn't.

That is a pretty drastic difference from USGS but they usually don't say the same thing. I will assume they will jump on board though with the 6.2.

I knew I had to get out of the way before a bigger one rolled in.
Chile. Could have been bigger. Almost a shrug your shoulders reaction down there.
I have a new thread. But that's not the best part.
I am going to issue a challenge.

As for the quakes in Akansas. There's a lull. Don't be put to sleep. It's Friday. Maybe they had to fill a quota. Maybe they had to up the pressure to get enough so they get weekend off. I'm sure they've had lots of overtime. Gas and oil prices are nice. They'll be wanting to pump while they get the best price. Before any glut. There was a small one not long ago. But it gets sold quick. Actually, presold. Futures.

Gosh I hope they don't work this weekend. Let her rest. We need more time. They're no awake yet. They're in denial. It's not real to them. The threat is not stopping them. They're still pumping. And I garantee the workers know what's going on.
