Interesting video. The guy created a linear thermal lance. This video did not prove the existance of thermate at the WTC collapse.
That was not the intention of the video, either. But still:
1) He recreated explosions reported by scores of witnesses (not true high explosions, but still sounds the same to a layman, only quieter)
2) He recreated steel melted by a eutectic liquid (a documented fact at the WTC by FEMA, appendix C)
3) He was able to successfully compromise the integrity of steel columns, and
4) He was able to fit his entire device inside the bolt access hole of a perimeter column
It did prove the existance of small iron spheres which are a byproduct of a thermitic reaction.
Yes, it provided evidence of those too, which were also found in abundance at Ground Zero, this is correct.
One small problem, these spheres are also a byproduct of thermal lances.
Maybe so, but are thermal lances also a liquid eutectic attack on the steel utilizing sulfur, able to create multiple explosions, and were they
inside the WTC Towers on the morning of 9/11?
The main flaw in the CD theories is that the collapse started at the impact points.
This is not a "flaw." As soon as the core structure is compromised (and for WTC1 you can easily see that the core was compromised simultaneously
with the rest of the structure, since the entire roof and antenna -- attached directly to the core -- all began dropping simultaneously) the hat truss
would try to redistribute the entire building loads onto the perimeter structure, which would then immediately fail from extreme overloading at its
weakest point. Where would the weakest point be? Where the impacts occurred.
