A call for John Lear to return to ATS(forced out by ???)

I have heard that there was some conspiracy that forced ole John to shy away from ATS .
I have read that somehow he was forced out but I have no information to back that up! "MIB" ??
He was not banned as here is John Lear's Profile
With his last visit being feb 2008
maybe if enough of us call for him to return he would be less reluctant!!
from what I have read he was a good contributor with some inside information

I think sometimes ego gets in the way of rational thought and people get their feelings hurt. And once that happens it is way less embarrassing to say "plot" or "agenda" than it is to say "I was wrong."

I was here in a "previous life" when Lear was around,and I have to say I think he added a unique point of view that made the boards a whole lot more interesting.Whether you believe what he has to say or not he is an intriguing person who's known a lot of fellow researchers,and has a lot of inside stories to tell.....again,true or not.

I remember when he was booted too....it was something about SO or someone deleting his posts,he ranted and posted their PMs in a thread,and again they got deleted.That's how I remember it though I could be wrong.Been a while.


Put me down for the "Bring Back Lear" side.

To be honest there would be no point in anyone going into reasons as to why he won't post anymore, what happened can't be undone and I'd almost guarantee that the thread would end up closed due to tensions if we did go down that avenue.

Aside from that, I would love to see John post again, some of the threads in his conspiracy section were hilarious and he would almost always reply to a question. No disrespect intended but the man's getting old now, it'd be nice to see bridges rebuilt between him and the management, it's just extremely unlikely.

Lear is not banned...he can come back whenever he wants.
He had decided not to come back so far because he simply doesn't like some of the terms and conditions...also, he complained about him being a bit hammered moreso than others (gray area).

Lear is -just a guy- though. People on ATS that are active are just as impressive as him credibilitywise. I encourage you to get to know your fellow ATSers on a personal level...you will be surprised at what types of people are on the board occasionally posting things.

Lear is simply star value..he has some interesting theories, but ultimately, he is a product of what happens when you believe in anything without evidence.

Good guy though..but ya..nothing above and beyond what is here already.

If you remember, he was very snappy. He made outrageous claims with no proof, and fully defended Billy Mier....If he comes back the forum would just push him out again.


(Personally, I have no opinion about him nor his "agenda", whatever that may be....)

I find John Lear to be a complete nut. I'd much rather have Mike Singh come back. at least his threads were interesting and not complete fantasy. check out his old threads if you don't know who I mean

John Lear has lots of information that we all need to pay attention to! When he speaks, I listen!

He is connected at the HIGHEST levels, brought us Area 51 & Bob Lazar - let the man SPEAK!

So what if he drinks a bit? So do I, and then I have a cup of coffee in the morning! WAKE UP!

John's a brilliant story teller but he never has any proof to back his stories.

The 'aliens eating people' story covered elsewhere on ATS is a classic example... the only proof he has are the words that come out of his mouth.

I'd LOVE for him to come back to ATS and show us all tangible proof of even one of his claims, but I don't think he has any.

Show us some actual proof please John?

I don't claim to speak for everyone, but the door is always open, and he's still a member. I may criticize his views and conclusions, but I still respect the man, and am glad to read what he has to say. It's really up to him to post again. For all we know, he's still lurking.

John Lear quitted ats because they tried to hide real evidence he sayed.

Lear WAS banned. Silenced. He did several videos discussing being banned from ATS and posted them on YouTube.

I did not agree alot with what he said, but his threads really where alot more interesting than the troll threads we get here.

I don't think we'll ever know to be honest mate.


He was either banned and the owners never put the ban sign on his profile, making it look like he just didn't come back, after being stripped of his titles and forced away from ATS.


Or


He got pissed off with whoever and the ways things were handled and decided to leave.
Caused a fuss and pointed fingers and stirring up trouble because he couldn't get his own way here.

He may not be banned NOW... but he sure was BEFORE. Why should he open himself up to only be humiliated and treated badly once again. I vote he stay away and share his insight with a more hospitable environment.
