Can anybody confirm this? Apparently it was reported on the BBC world news earlier today according to a poster over at GLP:

www.godlikeproductions.com...

Here is another site claiming that WL may have 'Cosmic Top Secret' files in their possession:

www.ufo-blogger.com...

I still remain very skeptical about what information WL has regarding UFO's but I guess we'll find out soon enough....

edit on 17-12-2010 by Disconnected Sociopath because: add more info

Of course WikiLeaks will post info on Area 51, and a bunch of other alien related stuff too. This is a PSY-OP! How else do you think the word will 'get out there' about E.T.? Leaking this info is much better than the world leaders having an hour long press conference, telling the public that aliens are here, and among us. I've been saying for ages now that, FULL DISCLOSURE will happen sometime during the Obama administration. Mark my words on that!

Am I confused... Or isn't it a no-no to link to GLP?

I honestly don't remember.

As said..
GLP is generally laughed at.

GLP is like sourcing something from ATS...however, GPL is like ATS's retarded cousin you try to hide in the basement...it is the stuff that is ultimately too nutty for ATS by people whom were ejected from ATS. heh

Troll forum basically

So true, is there a site that is not as retarded as GLP and a little less "the sky is falling" and "i'm a hybrid reptilian ghost" as we've been seeing here on ATS.

It's inevitible that ATS will be stuck in the basement soon too...

I think ATS is alright. Any conspiracy website is bound to get alot of nutty things overall, but its filed away easily enough..ultimately, you don't have to participate in threads that are wonky.

The only problem is of course that many of the nutty types tend to flow into actual serious discussions about a potential conspiracy and railroad the thread into oblivion.

But no matter where you go, there is always going to be those types...so it comes down really to just a decent terms and conditions, and promotion of intelligent debate over nonsense rambling without being to heavy fisted on censoring...after all...some of those nuts may be right

Ive been lurking GLP for years...

When someone says I JUST SAW IT ON BCC/CNN/FOX etc WITHOUT a source, it's a lie

I'm well aware that GLP isn't the greatest website for getting good info, in fact I do find most of the crap over there to be very entertaining especially since the site allows explicit person attacks against other user to be posted, but I was curious if anybody had seen this alleged report on the BBC news?

Also what about the other site I posted - is that site legit or just more BS as well (regarding the 'cosmic top secret' files)

Personally I still believe that whatever info WL has on UFO's is likely just references to top secret government projects/aircrafts, but I'm hoping they prove me wrong and have a true bombshell waiting to be released....

Well, its a bloggers website

I also have a blog.

I can post on my blog that WL may be releasing information about the reptilian skinjobs...but that doesn't make it true.

I would bet a ham sandwich that the blog used GLP as its exclusive source for it, or the other way around...but either way...its just a blog.
like an anonymous video on youtube..credibility = zero.

It's a blog. I agree with others that WikiLeaks released non classified or secret documents in its last foray. It's possible they could have recruited yet another leaker. In fact, they'll have to to remain viable at all. All WikiLeaks does is say "Send us your stuff." Then you need someone like Manning to actually do it. WikiLeaks is nothing without a co-conspirator willing to break the law to get them material. Although I still harbor ideas that Manning was set-up, the difference betweeen his access to SIPRNET along with literally millions of others is, I think, worlds away from the Top Secret type of clearances that must be required for access to UFO dosuments. (Insert MJ-12 debate here.)

Julian has made a name for himself now, but the entire Wikileaks scenario is a side show. Nothing really serious was released. The cables amount to diplomatic gossip. They seem almost diversionary.

Did you see the alleged US Navy log that they have posted on that blog?

Probably just BS or forged.....

I still want to believe that WL/Assange is sitting on some very explosive info in regards to this 'insurance file'

Because if the US wanted this guy - they would have him. And there is no way he would have posted bail unless he gave the US the password to the insurance file and they saw what is in there.

That is why I'm holding out hope that he has some definitive piece of evidence that confirms the existence of ET life, whether it's the insurance file or something else....

Thing is he has been fixed and will only release docs. that validate what we allready know about. He knows if the sensitive information gets out he will be how shall I say disappeared, so he is going to share nothing serious just misdirectors and keep what he does know to himself for protection. He was not going to martyr himself for humanity. He is probably a richer man for his activities which is basic Earth inhabitants flaw. So good luck following him.

You realize he was held in the UK...which is not in the USA...

You asked we looked article on Guardian

But before we go on, two housekeeping notes. Despite what Julian Assange said in an online Q&A, there are no references to aliens in the cables. We searched for aliens and UFOs ("visitors" and "non-terrestrial officers" too, thanks, UFO-minded readers) without finding anyway. Assange may have been having fun. Second, there is nothing to suggest the 9/11 attacks were not carried out by 19 terrorists on four hijacked aeroplanes. An estimated 3m people had access to the cables pre-leak, so if there were a conspiracy in them it would need to be one that around 1% of all US citizens were in on.

COSMIC TOP SECRET is a NATO classification. Many people have access to COSMIC documents and many of those are junior officers in NATO countries. Whether there is any UFO information in there or not is not determined by the word COSMIC.

"Probably just BS or forged..... "

...Yes, and that's the rub, eh? How is it possible to ever authenticate anything that may materialize at WL on this subject (or on any other for that matter)? Remember the Isaac Drones fiasco? Those 'documents" were also "leaked" through the ether to the masses, filtered ad nausea through ATS and countless others, with an ultimate consensus of "hoax" -but closure? No sir.

And so it will continue. Morsels and bones with fleeting wispy scraps to whet our appetite. Pacify some curiosities. Proof, gentlemen (and ladies), will not be had through a highly pixelated image of a questionable document from an unverifiable source.

Instead, should Mr. Assange pull that particular trigger, the consequence will merely provide banter, fodder and a few drops toward our insatiable thirst. Not enough for us, but perhaps ammunition enough for the armchair pundits ready for another round of disclosure kool-aid.

*sigh*

Ok, Assange. Bring it. Whaddya got?
