that may take some time as it possibly is a four/five figure number with a four/five figure answer .....

729.5 x _____ = _____

has 5 spaces underlined for each

hmmm how do we know when we have the right answer, i doubt this is simple math or remember this clue the ancient art of the number and the ancient start you know the count or something. maybe the first blank is roman numerals and the second is the actual answer.becaus ther is no way to multiply a four digit number by another 4 digit number and get a 5 digit number.

729.5 x _____ = _____

That's indeed a little weird...
The answer could be any kind of number, so there's probably something tricky about it

According to the blanks, it should be multiplied with 5 digits and the result should be 5 digits.
Maybe there's just 1 solution?

But remember, there can also be a 111.1 number (With a dot).

EDIT: Like this i mean:

729,5 x 14,000 = 10213

MGJ,
729.5 x 1.000 = 729.5

Look! A 5-figure number x another = another! So basically, it is a decimal. Ancient numbers: Pi = 3.142 (to 3 d.p.), doesn't work though.

729.5 x 3.142 = 2292.089

Hmmm.

Can't think of any others. Probably wrong track anyway.

EDIT: Can't be bigger than 137.
1.234 gives 900.203, which must be meaningless. Never mind.

got something to think about and dont even say im spamming. remember when 0 was saying the ring of a circle the circle of a ring well that is like circumference or diameter a think so maybe we can do more with Pi which is a ratio of something to do with a circle . i think this maybe useful.

No you really are spamming. And pi is the number which, when multiplied by the diameter, gives the circumference. You didn't listen much in maths did you MGJ? Or English...

I think the result must be like xxxxx instead of xxx.x (So without the dot), because i think it will lead to some thread

In going thru all the mixed up clues, the one that says "there is one this one be" has 0.002, which is the only one out of all of them that when multiplied with 729.5, equals a 5 digit answer.

729.5 x 0.002 = 1.459

We ar currently looking for the second ring..........are we not?

The first was found by Smirk
The second was found, and put back ino play (Swans)
And the third was found by Seth

So 0.002 makes sence fo the second ring.

I tried thread 1459, and forum 1 page 459, but got nothing. Im about to check member number 1459 now.

I think we are getting two sets of clues

one lot for third ring and one lot for fourth ring

I suspect the symbol clue relates to one ring and the ancient art of the number and the 729.5 relate to another ring

unless the 729.5 relates to the symbols and we would know what to multiply it with if we solved the symbols !!!

Has anyone noticed that 729.5 x .0004 = .2918

Thread 2918 is very familiar:

www.abovetopsecret.com...

Could this be telling us we need to solve that old clue?

And, if so, is the equation a clue to help solve it?

EDIT - Sorry this is thread 62918. 2918 actually means nothing.
Thanks Durden.

Hi

I think we might be looking for two rings at once

very interesting that equation went to that thread

we obviously need to solve the symbols either way
