I need input from anyone that may have a idea of what i'm seeing.

I live in a small town, by small i mean maybe 350 people if you count the dogs. The nearest town of any size is 45 miles away, which has a army base but that is it, (which is where i drive every day to work, long commute, but worth it to be out away from it all.)
Today I ran the kids to school, and stopped by the gas station to get a pop, parked in front of the volunteer fire department on the street is a USAF Semi, Now the confusing part is it says "United States Air Force" painted on the side and doors of the trailer, but it also has "Montana" with a big "M" as a logo. It also has USAF 0000962 i think on it, The trailer its self has a door on either side , dropped down.

Any clue as to what this could be for and why? The only thing i could think of is some kind of home land training for the fire department, which meet and train on Wednesday night.
I would take a picture, but i'm not that brave right now, every time i have gone by the local sheriff was sitting by the trailer, so I'm thinking something important was in it.
I have not seen any military personnel of any kind, just the trailer.
Sorry no pic's guys, i know how you love them, but a bit risky right now, if i catch a time where there is no one watching the trailer, i will snap a few, but in a small town like this you stand out fast snooping around.

If it's connected to the Military you won't get any answers because they are not going to tell you anything.

I second mobile recruiting station - or possibly crash command post, as in air craft mobile crash command post that they utilize to investigate crash sites. Depending on the mission of the Montana Air Guard it could be a mobile emergency response center - and it could just be on the road for training. Most likely though - it is for recruiting, especially if it is modern looking and attractive, meaning fairly spiffy paint job. Since the town is so small the local pd is probably just curious as are you. If it is an emergency response center there is fairly expensive equiptment inside that might be attractive to opportunists. But it certainly is not "top secret" that stuff isn't advertised and gets escorted.

People tend to get overly excited about some pretty mundane things. For example there were some posts on here this past summer very doom and gloom about a regularly planned - decades in existance - training exercise we do with South America every summer called UNITAS - everyone was doing the chicken little about that. Even when it was pointed out that it was situation normal and links about the excercise were posted - people still wanted to think some sort of invasion was taking place. Remain calm.

Nope it was training for the fire department, i drove by it on the way to work , smoke was rolling out of it, must be training on tractor trailer fires, came back by this morning, its still standing so it was a controlled burn, but lots of black smoke.
I'm not really surprised, the fire dept here is really on the ball, i'd be a part of it if i could get Wednesday evenings off, but work wont allow it.
They train more than most paid departments that i have seen.

Oh well nothing to see here.. but one never knows.

thanks for the posts though.
