World War 3 has already happened, and, is happening NOW - are people really this Blind?!

Don't forget India, they are rapidly rising. Plus if Japan rearms, which looks real likely, it would be able to field a military almost comparable to the US.

The world is far more interconnected and interdependent than the world prior to WW2. The countries to keep an eye on are the ones that don't depend on anyone and the one's that need resources badly.

China's growth is unsustainable without resources. They need raw materials and energy badly.
Russia has plenty of resources and doesn't depend on anyone. Its being depopulated though due to lack of immigration and a negative birthrate.
Japan is desperate for resources and also suffers negative population growth.
Canada has plenty of resources and doesn't need anyone.
Europe badly needs energy, but has raw materials.
The US has plenty of resources, but prefers to use others before tapping any of its own.

In the next ten to fifteen years, one of the resource deprived, probably Japan, is going to take resources, probably from Russia. Then we will have a huge mess. Whoever the US sides with will probably win.


Your right though about the number of world wars. The number is at least 5 and possibly high as 7.

While I agree with you.. I still feel right now it all centres on the big 3 vying for power (the US, EU and China) which (IMHO) is still in flux so likely to be the driver on what alliances are being formed.

I think once we have the definitive answer of who will gang up with who to take out the 3rd we'll get our determining factor that'll define where nations like Russia and India will sit and who they will side with.

If for example the EU sides with China, then I would expect it is in the best interests of India and Russia to side with them... while if the EU sides with the US Russia might go towards China and India towards the EU/US combo, and if China and the US gang up on the EU then perhaps Russia and India will side with them.

However if that ends in a new cold war rather than a military conflict, then we are into a whole new situation and a whole new ballgame.. but I do feel this game that has already started has to play out first.

We are probably there in terms of geography & countries involved (on 'both' sides of the 'terrorism issue' - I put that in quotes because many countries see us as the big bad bullies, horning in on anything we can), and certainly there in terms of manpower and money thrown at it!

Are we denying this reality simply due to the fact that we have not "gone Nuclear"?



(Hate to say it (but, am glad to be on the winning side, at least), but, we are Nazi-esque world-conquering figure in this one - for the last 9 years - only we are spreading our reach (forces) in the name of freedom, liberty, and 'anti-terrorism')

Yes , You are right . May be we already are in the Great War . I think it started from Afghanistan War .
