Using search, I found that this has been discussed before, but I couldn't find an answer. Is there a way to block an entire forum, so those threads don't show up in Recent Threads?

On the Recent Posts page look for the "(-)" link at the lower right/bottom of each 'thread listing'.

Clicking that link will block that particular forum from showing on Your recent posts page.

e.g.:

Can we block entire forums?
Board Business & Questions from InvisibleAlbatross (-)

Oh, I thought that just blocked the particular thread, not the whole forum. I should have experimented before posting. Thank you.

The (-) is to block forums, I wish they had a way to block threads.

When I first saw the (-)'s I thought they were to block threads and I hit a bunch of them only to see the forums blocked. What a pain unblocking them!
