how is the bush policy (WoT & Iraq) going to affect the new president?

was wondering. assuming bush loses this years elections. how is his policies on the war on terrorism and promise of continued placement of american soldiers in iraq going to affect the new president?

he has created the largest american embassy in iraq. he "liberated" iraq fr saddam and therefore the new president cant just withdraw american soldiers from iraq, or can he? assuming kerry wins or whoever for that matter, what might he do?

I think a new president will have to keep with the policies of the old administration a least for a while until he can come out with a different aproach to the situations and review those policies to see wich ones he is going to keep or change.

I am no political analist but it sound reasonable.
