"Fish with Human Teeth" Anybody ever heard of this?? (VIDEO)

Hey ATS,
I came across something while surfin the net. Can anyone tell me what this is? I mean, it's a fish, but, there are human teeth on this fish. Does anyone know if this is some kind of Urban Legend? I searched for this on ATS, and got no results. This looks pretty real to me, but I am no expert. Check out the vid. Click Here For Video

If this is real, then, that makes me come to two possible conclusions:

1) Humans evolved from fish
2) There is something in our water, that is genetically altering fish (sodium flouride)

Hi leira7,

That fish is called a Pacu. It is related to the pirahna, but have blunt teeth and is from South America. They are avialable in stores around the world where aquarium fish are sold. And yes these fish as well as many other exotic fish and animals end up in our lakes and forest.

They can get a little bit bigger than that too!

I'd say something set free from a private aquarium, maybe even cross bred in the lake over time. Perhaps "Pacu" in origin.

I think the fisherman has been in bred though.

The sheepshead fish in the waters of the Atlantic Ocean have teeth that look like human teeth.

I've been bitten several times getting them off my hook.

They can get very large.

I use fiddler crabs as bait to catch them.

Yummy for the tummy.

Either way, that fish is natural, it's those fish that have human faces that freak me out!

Here is a better video of the sheephead.Ugly little critter.

The pacu is originally from south america. I am from north america and we are now catching these in our lake. Which leads me to believe they adapted to our colder waters.
