Laurentide Ice Sheet - evidence of rapid pole shift?

Is the Ice Age a cover-up for periodic pole shifting?


Picture this - the Laurentide Ice Sheet went as far south as 38N!!!! Colder weather in the world can't account for the mid 30's latitudes having an ARCTIC climate, can they?

Not only that, but the Ice Age was not a global thing - it mostly affected the Northern Hemisphere. The Southern Hemisphere was only slightly colder.

Were the melting of the Laurentide, the drying of the Sahara, and the great floods, about ~10000 years ago, give or take a couple millennia, product of a rapid pole # and not a mere climactic shift?

another thing - Niagara Falls is 12,600 years old - which is EXACTLY half as long as the procession of the equinoxes!!

Polar Shifts arent the poles actually moving but the magnetic field is reversed. A compass will read the opposite direction than it should.

I looked up events that happened at intervals of 25,000 years ago by searching Yahoo for "50,000 years ago", "75,000 years ago", etc ... and found out that at pretty much every period that is a multiple of 25K years ago from now, a huge volcano went off, the climate changed, or both.

As i posted in a miriad of other threads: pole shifts take from 5000 to ~1 mil years from start to end so stop posting nonsense about 2012 being destroyed by pole shift.

If it would take 1 year then the whole planet would collapse, reason? Because the iron core of the planet will move too fast affecting the magma which will affect the tectonic plates.

Reversal of the magnetic polarity can trigger the crust of the Earth to shift. All of the tectonic plates would move around rapidly. I am not a scientist but this is what I gather from reading a few articles and watching some videos.

if anything its proof that water migrates and that while earth is near roundish water distrobution is more like a drop of water due to the tilt in the axis with more water at the bottom then at the top , , who know it might even be like a neverending hourglass that refills it self everynow and then , ..

With what you said we can assume that the Earth has another object bellow it to attract the water .

spelling is correct!

Well the Lakes came into being after the last Interglacial, and Niagara was formed when Erie spilled into Ontario, which was 12,600 years ago, or exactly half a procession of the Equinox.

no, with out the moon in its current position, water would expel it self due to rotation
moon is there to keep this near roundish objects water in near roundish motion
